Hmmmmmm my post just arrived, earlier than yesterday as was 4pm when it arrived, I'd ordered some granite and marble cleaner to use on the floors but then now I have opened it this says don't use on floors, wondering if it's just because it'll make it slippy? Don't want to have wasted my money but that's all I bought it for. Might try it on one square and see what it's like..........
One day I might be more organised...........

think i spoke too soon about DS - up to 4 nappies, and has only managed to eat 2 rich tea finger biscuits all day. I just made a lovely pie, mash, carrots, peas and a yorkshire pud, and he wouldn't even touch it. Same with the croissant this morning which is normally a favourite. Don't know what else i can do with him. All he wants to do is sit and watch barney - as i won't let him have it on all day, he is just stood at the window in the inbetween times, or wanting to sit on my knee.

I think i may end up taking my maternity leave early at this rate, as we are running out of people to watch him, and we can't really have time off work like this or it will be on our permanent work record. So that would be 4 weeks early.

lil-me i was thinking to myself how good care you take of that house when it is a rented one. Some people would think what the heck, particularly as it is the conservatory. I wonder how it wasn't that bad when you moved in especially as it was empty for so long.

dusty, soappie and polly well done on the progress this morning.

Wow, everyone's so busy. DD and DSs all left at 7am to go to a driving weekend. I went back to sleep after they left and as DH kept cats away from bedroom and giant puppy quiet, I didn't wake up until 12 noon. I reckon I must have needed it.
    pigpen, have a great time!
cha97michelle, sorry that littlies still not better. Keep on at the doctors if he doesn't pick up over the weekend. My DS2 was like that and we never did find the cause, and he never put back the weight, he just grew up really thin. He is 19 now and has arms and legs like sticks. Sorry, don't mean to worry you.

emmb, thats quite a list!! soappie too!!

    Hello
How is everyone? Shell - hope you're ok and less itchy with the chicken pox...how horrid.

I'm ready to try and start again on Monday as long as pigpen has lots of dog biscuits as motivation. My wrist isn't quite as sore and I'm only taking pain killers at night so i'm definitely on the mend. The house is a tip...DH has fed everyone and erm...think that's about it, bless him!! I need to start flying because i'm bored and the house is driving me mad. The only thing i've done this week is keep on top of the washing and drying so lots to do next week.

    I'm going to declutter my bedroom this afternoon so it'll be easier to clean in the week. So, today's list;

    - find homes for all the junk in my bedroom.

Hugs to all and thanks for kind message from people xx

Now dealing with a sicky boy as well. AAAAHHHHHH! How long can one child be ill for? He's now in bed. Thank god he didn't eat anything for breakfast or lunch, or i would have been joining him i think.

    Right:
    • all sicky clothes now in wash - all Ds's and my trousers.
    • rug cleaned and disinfected
    • DS bathed as i got it everywhere getting his clothes off
    • DS put in PJs as they will be less tight round his stomach, and put for a lie down in his cot - he's worn out bless him
    • breakfast dishes put away
    • lunch dishes washed up
    • card and tin recycling put out
    • all sicky kitchen roll in outside bin as it chuffin reeked - he's only had a cup of milk and 2 biccies all day - think i will leave him on water for the rest of the day
    • dining room table wiped from where he flicked mash everywhere, then spread it
I am so glad i didn't try and make a plan for the day, as it well and truly isn't going my way.

Part of me is being really mardy, and feeling like ringing DH and telling him to get his self back home to help out. But then i feel so bad as he rarely gets out anywhere and deserves some fun. He'd best let me rest tomorrow afternoon though, as i think i am doing more than my fair share today.

Not sure what to do with myself now, but i am not rushing to do anything. I think i might pay my CC bill while i am online, and then have a rest while he does in case i have a rough night tonight.

Michelle - I really hope he gets better soon, it can wear you out having a sickly one. Hugs xx

I've decluttered my room so I now have one bin bag of clothes for friends little boy, one bag for charity, one bag of rubbish and a box of toys that probably need chucking.

I've also gone through the bathroom cabinet which is floor to ceiling and has 6 shelves behind doors and 6 open shelves. I've chucked out loads of half used freebies that are year and years old and now have one shelf of stuff that needs to be used up, one shelf of stuff that's not been started yet, and several empty shelves that I might use for loo rolls etc so I don't fill them with junk again.

Going to have a rest for a bit and decide what to do next. On a positive note, 5 weeks of no work means I should have a very tidy house at the end of it.

Roofer came round today to price up the interim repairs for the roof so i've had to put him off for the time being. It's going to be a very, very skint month as i'm going to earn nothing at all and DHs overtime still hasn't been paid. We're waiting for 4 months of overtime now which will be lovely when it gets paid.

Arm is tingling now so I need to put it back in sling.

    Speak later xx
