4) [STRIKE]clear DD's bedroom
[/STRIKE]5) clear utility room
6) sort through more bulbs that i have and hopefully find somewhere to plant
7) [STRIKE]thing of something for dinner[/STRIKE]
8) [STRIKE]fire lit
[/STRIKE]and that's it so far, i'm sure i'll think of more.:rotfl:
I'm gonna choke my lot, the whole lot of them opened the door this morning and tiddled down the lane to their granny's with a bowl each for breakfast and an apple that they cut up for their granny because she loves apples. Now they think i'm cross because they ran down the lane never mind that they used a knife and climbed to get the key and unlocked the flipping door and headed down the lane.   Normally they would waken me but decided this morning that i was tired and needed to sleep, so they tip toed round the house (their words). MIL and FIL think it is funny because they were fine and i was talking to MIL this morning and she never mentioned a word about it until i asked what had happened this morning as the kids had told me. I nearly dropped, i swear them kids are gonna put me in an early grave their only 7,4 and 3. Defo bad mother here this morning never heard a peep out of them.
Right gonna go and sort out clothes for tonight.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Jeez that's scary vanilla...were they home again before you realised?0
-
Yep when i got up they were in the kitchen with their granny but she had said that she asked them to unlock the door to let the dog in because he eats the tyres of the car
i didn't think anything off it. My lot can't hold water so as soon as their granny left they told me all. It has totally scared the life out of me and i'll be taking all keys to bed with me from now on.
How the wrist, itchy yet??? I've fractured both wrists twice each time and all i wanted was a knitting needle to scratch my arm.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Forgot to say they washed the dishes before they went down to their granny's.:rotfl:Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0

I'm taking a break from the Kids Room Of Doom.
Decided the best way was to just grab the bin, fill it with stuff off the floor and sort it out bit by bit, we have over the floor, a huge box of magnetix, another huge box of lego, kiddy bricks, pop corn, scrabble peices, bits out of every game they own, all the toys they own, torn up bit of toilet paper (oh please let it be unused), dog hair, pencils, pens, etc etc etc..... Done about half of it so far.
Now, dilemma time. I have a huge box full of wooden toys, bricks, puzzles etc. It's all 'Physio' stuff but DS2 has outgrown it. So, do I put it on Ebay using free listing or do I donate it to the OT and Physio dept?
Hmmmm... maybe Ebay it and charge a lot in postage then what doesn't sell give to OT.
OK, make a :coffee: and back to it, I will get that room Lv3 I will I will I will!!!! :T0 -
Think i'll sleep with the keys after that story! I've had my itchy moments but nothing too unbearable yet.
It's so wierd not working on a Saturday. I'm going to go and throw five things away in every room. It's so sad how little challenges keep me going, lol! I need to get a life! xx0 -
I can see carpet!!!!! Woohoo!!!!
Yes, I am still at the kids room. Cleared the floor between the beds, now I have to do under the beds. This is the scary bit.
Got Harry Potter OOTP DVD on to keep me company :rolleyes:0 -
Tiamai can I ask what sort of physio stuff it is, im trying get hold of somethings to help DS fine and gross motor skills ( they are still below what they should be since his tumor):xmastree: :xmastree:0

NKJAL, its ELC bricks, stacking things, wooden puzzles etc.
He has right sided hemiplegia so cant use his right hand very well. It's stuff he was using from 1yr old to encourange fine motor skills and to use both hands.
If you want some of it, drop me a PM. I'd rather it went to someone who would use it.
I will take some photo's when I have finished the room for you.0 -
Evening all.
Mudbath - great to hear from you and glad you are doing well with the flying, sorry you are bored though do you have any books you've always meant to read? I want to read Alice through the looking Glass for no reason other than I don't know what it is about.
AnW'sMum still thinking of you whenever I see a daffodil or when I'm reading shopaholic - how are you getting on with it - I think it is hilarious.
Michelle sorry Charlie is not well. Re the tv at his age mine all became obsessed with TV it is as if they are suddenly seeing more in the programs than they did before. There is a bug going around school here but it is usually short lived. Is he on cows or formula milk?
DS1 room completed and looks great.
DS2 room I have made the bed and wiped the desk need to finish the rest next
DS3 room bed stripped and that is it. Going to make his bed and do his room tomorro.
I now have an empty cupboard in the hall under the stairs where DS3 kept his action man car which he nolonger wants. The cupboard is not huge but think I will use it as my ebay store rather than the floor in OH office.
Right must get the bedrooms done before I want the kids in them.
DS1 off at gocarting with a friend for his birthday. DS2 has gone to watch with OH so just the little one here - on the wii.
Lil_me which granite stuff did you get? The lakeland one?The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
