oh.. AND.. we eventually got DD2's school letter.. she got her first choice school so is absolutely made up this week.. Crufts AND her favourite high school.. when we told her we were staying in a hotel she was most excited.. and asked if that means she has to have a suitcase with wheels... so I am going to pop out with my mother and get her one. She said she is going to ring room service in the middle of the night for a feast!! LMAO!!! ... too much 'home alone' watching I think!!

Tiddles not having a nap today. I am being mean and making her stay up as I have to go to the post office and I also have to go to the chemist for something super strength for DD2's travel ickiness... all recommendations gratefully received.. the over the counter stuff doesn't work and we have a 2+ hour drive to Birmingham at the weekend!

I am thinking some of the wrist bands AND the tablets (usual triple dose!!).. someone mentioned patches.. has anyone tried those though??

HHC anyone??? I can clear the rest of this here list this afternoon...

    1:45-2:15pm.......... PLEASE????

:coffee::coffee::coffee: to fill you with buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I always fed my kids gingernut biscuits for travel sickness. I also gave them to the school kids on the bus when we went on school trips as all the roads round here are really bendy. Ginger is really good for settling the stomach.

Pigpen - travelsickness. Try sitting the puker in the front of the car, that way they look straight out the front window. Its usually things flashing past the car sideways that triggers the nausea. bit like the feeling you get on a fairground waltzer.

Feeding ginger biscuits before travel helps, ginger soothes the stomach. However ginger puke stains!

Failing that your GP can prescribe stronger stuff than you get at the chemist.

    WB..

A few years ago hubby did a fireplace for a woman who was having a house built and she found £120,000 worth of gold coins on her land.. paid for her house being built!!! She received a cheque for the full value from the crown treasury!! ... happy digging!

sadly digging has stopped as I wacked my finger with a mallet. I can only type with one hand - I feel like Mudbath, how are you hun?

  • Hey there everyone,

Just a quick hello - I can't do any flying until I have made ds's costume - he finally found a book last night - so ended up getting myself all stressed out having to go up to Glasgow to get all the materials required... Kids are booked into after school care today so only dd2 to distract me until DH comes home with the troops.

So a coffee and a quick catch up before I get the machine out:

Pigpen - hope your ds had a fab day yesterday and it is great your dd2 has a place at the school she wanted.

Poohbear - that is amazing!!! You both must be so pleased!

ok right now the dining room is tidy - which is great - I have room to work :rotfl: now everyone please keep your fingers crossed that my plan works  (he doesn't like my back up plan of Harry and the Dino!)
