    Afternoon all :)

Sending good wishes to AnW'sMum and Nicki

Dustykitten - it was really good to see you post.

    Bedroom day for me.

Stripped my bed and remade it. Two loads of washing on the line.

Dusted/polished all the bedrooms and vacuumed them all and then the landing and bathroom/toilet floors.

Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

I feel like, no matter what I do it never looks nice but I know that's partly in my head and partly because most of our stuff is old and tatty.

Doing sausages, jacket spuds and beans for dinner. Nice and easy.
  • Well ive cleaned kitchen and preped chicken roast for tonight and then someone sent me this funny pic it made me smile so here it is for yas who are feeling down

    luby-lou,
I hope your littly is better soon. Just give up on trying to fly for now and just give her cuddles. Flying can wait. Sorry pp!

I just need to tell someone. My DH has found his wedding ring that he lost 12 years ago. Actually it was one of our hens scratching in the dirt that found it. We are both absolutelydelighted. We knew he lost it when chopping kindling but after searching for days we eventually gave up and bought a new one but it wasn't the same.

Yay!!!!   Nice one!!

mumofjusttwo thanks for finding that for me, if only I'd looked back at the post instead of wasting the last half hour or so trying to find it :o oh well think I might use the deals for something else depending what late offers become available, some are nearly half price at the minute but we're looking at going later in the year, not missing out on that type of offer just to use the few tesco vouchers I have (only got what's worth about £60 in deals at the most I think) when there are much better deals short notice. DP basically works self employed and when the students are away he only does thurs (sometimes) then friday and saturday so we could just go any time there is a good offer available on one of the midweek breaks. Boys schools know the boys find busy places hard to cope with so if needs be I can take them during term time, prefer not to of course, but we can.

poohbear, why didn't I think of that :o I've just dropped him an email, also mentioning that I hope it arrives today (due today) they know we've had problems with course materials as over half of the books etc went to the old address so I think we've done well to catch up with that one and get it in on time.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Good Luck Skintscotslass!

Well, DD2 safely deposited in her cot and hopefully asleep by now. Time to do my jobs, which now includes cleaning the spaghetti bolognese up that is all over the kitchen floor thanks to my little angel.

    Bye for now....

Poohbear great news. I'm just about to go and dig a bit of soil I have reclaimed for a raspberrie bed - think I'll take DS2's metal detector out.

    WB..

A few years ago hubby did a fireplace for a woman who was having a house built and she found £120,000 worth of gold coins on her land.. paid for her house being built!!! She received a cheque for the full value from the crown treasury!! ... happy digging!

Tiddles not having a nap today. I am being mean and making her stay up as I have to go to the post office and I also have to go to the chemist for something super strength for DD2's travel ickiness... all recommendations gratefully received.. the over the counter stuff doesn't work and we have a 2+ hour drive to Birmingham at the weekend!

I am thinking some of the wrist bands AND the tablets (usual triple dose!!).. someone mentioned patches.. has anyone tried those though??

HHC anyone??? I can clear the rest of this here list this afternoon...

    1:45-2:15pm.......... PLEASE????
