    Morning Everyone!

Got my yellow hair bobble in - thinking of you AnW'smum and you too Nicki - us girls may fall apart now and again but it sounds like you've made a decision to pick yourself up and stand up for yourself and your DD. Its amazing how strong we can be when we set our minds to it! I know you can do it. We're definately all willing you on here.

Well, day 3 now and so far so good - didn't do too bad yesterday in the kitchen, still need to clean out every cupboard in there and clean the oven but it looks tidy and - here's the impressive bit - I even emptied the dishwasher and filled it up with the breakfast pots this morning BEFORE SCHOOL!!! This has never been achieved before!!! Washing is in the drier and I've planned spaghetti bolognese for me & DD2 for lunch (leftovers from freezer) and jacket potatoes with tuna mayo and salad for tea. All seems a bit too organised this week so far - can it last?????!

Don't know how much I'll get done today though as DD2 a bit clingy and a bit of a temperature. Although she's brightened up a little after a dose of paracetemol and is currently trying to give her box of raisins to the cat!

Hopefully she'll sleep well this afternoon and I can achieve my targets for today - shouldn't be too bad as I don't have a study and my laptop is in the lounge which was done on Monday (and still looking good I might add).

Taken about 1/2 hour to do this post - have been wiping DD2's snotty nose countless times if she's not wiped it on me first, changing her dirty nappy, reading The Gingerbread Man, picking up previously mentioned raisins off lounge floor before they get trodden in. No rest for the wicked.

    See you all later

Destiny, just tackle your list one item at a time. It doesn't matter if you don't do it ALL today. Looking at your list, I'd start with the kitchen bits first (painting the skirting boards can wait until the weekend!) and then it's all nice and clean for when you prep the chicken roast.

Then, if you feel energetic - do the bathroom and loo.
Then contemplate hoovering the bits visitors see first (downstairs)
    Then do upstairs.

You could always break the hoovering tasks up into smaller bits - like
    Downstairs
    • hallway
    • living room
    • dining room
etc. It'll give you more motivation if you cross off little bits and pieces rather than try and tackle a one liner that's really an enormous task.

    Good luck!
