Flying to some extent is on hold for me :
I split from my partner of 8 years last August but we remained living together so he could "help". This was a major mistake as I have now found out that he's been seeing someone else (be it only officially since August when we split) and now the split is far from amicable as he walked out last night and left me and our 7-year-old daughter (well 7 in a couple of weeks) after I told him some home & legal truths (I love knowing Police officers:D ) about the situation he was getting into.
SO this morning I'm off to the CAB to find out what I am entitled to, then the job centre to see about training to become a teacher or some sort of training in IT as thats what I want to teach, make a quick stop off at our local council one-stop-shop (local council office) to amend the housing application I put in on Monday when I realised there was no going back. I AM STRONG AND I CAN DO THIS :T:T:D He's not going to know whats hit him cause up until now I've been a blubbering wreck but I can't be that anymore for MY daughters sake so he can go do one!

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hugs Nicki - and well done on getting your action plan together. Let us know what the job centre say.
Right, I'm off to get dressed in my yellow top and cream cardi and then pick some daffs from the gardenI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning lovely ladies (and pigpen):D
Hugs to all that need them, especially AnW'smum and nicki. Both difficult situations and i wish you the strength to get through them.
I've level 3'd the past 2 days and my house is so much better for it, need to keep this up;)
My dad was up last night and i offered him one of my lovely HM scones, turns out he doesnt like cheese scones and apparently neither does DHWhat a shame, guess i'll need to eat them all then:D

you guys are great. so supportive of each other. I would also like to send lots of hugs round this morning.
anw's mum will think of you lots today.
nicki now you sound like you are getting sorted. you will get through it, and if anything will be stronger.
I'm around again today. DS still unwell - day 11. I had a rough night. Woke up with stomach cramps and then leg cramps, so i will be drinking plenty of water today in case i am a bit dehydrated. Will also try and buy some bananas today as the potassium is supposed to help - might also help to settle Ds's tummy.
I am not really going to set myself any targets today. Will see how i go. The only definite plan is to drop DS's sample pot off at the drs to see if he has a bacterial infection they can treat, and while we are there i might as well get him weighed at clinic to see if he has lost much weight so i can monitor him. I know he's a big lad for his age, but they can soon lose weight can't they.
So far today then,- WM - DS's soiled PJs and stuff
- packed lunch for DH made
- rang in work and emailed in some cover work for my classes today
- last night's washing up away
- DS dressed by DH
I'm enjoying not needing to rush around this morning, and can't wait now for the maternity leave to start.0 -
Just a quickie for now. Will be wearing my yellow T for you AnWsmum. Asked the angels to be be there for you.
Nicki Good luck and know that you do have the strength. You can do this.
Flying will be done later as Im off to the gym and later meeting a friend for lunch. Ive done a load of washing though so thats something.0 -
