:j Phew not all bills, my CC one was in there which is £246 :rotfl:shows how much spending I do online as I use that when other places don't take my cash card :o then pay it off each month, I actually thought it would be a bit more than that. Good news, £46.87 Quidco payment went in my bank this morning :D I haddn't even looked at the payments bit for a while so a nice suprise. The DUNK must have been the Haven brochure, wanted to have a look at the book rather than just online, does look good and we can take the woofers with us (£40 to take them on holiday, £125 to leave them at home ) just need to find out if you can use the Tesco vouchers on the last minute deals....might have a holiday this year after all if we can, just a few days but it's a break isn't it.
One day I might be more organised...........

gunsandbanjos, we borrowed metal detectors, sieved the soil, everything we could think of and then the chooks just dug it up.

Lil_me, yesterday you mentioned a bit about your assignment you had handed in and found something was missing, I think. \I would just e mail your tutor and ask if you can send in the other bit. I eventually found out that most OU tutors are human after all!! Sometimes I rang the Gosforth centre for advice. One of my assignments was two months late, that was \when DH was really wierd about four years ago. He is bi polar they think!! I couldn't manage my assignments and four kids and a DH who kept going walkabout!

Flying to some extent is on hold for me :

I split from my partner of 8 years last August but we remained living together so he could "help". This was a major mistake as I have now found out that he's been seeing someone else for at least a year (be it only officially since August when we split) and now the split is far from amicable as he walked out last night and left me and our 7-year-old daughter (well 7 in a couple of weeks) after I told him some home & legal truths (I love knowing Police officers:D ) about the situation he was getting into.

SO this morning I'm off to the CAB to find out what I am entitled to, then the job centre to see about training to become a teacher or some sort of training in IT as thats what I want to teach, make a quick stop off at our local council one-stop-shop (local council office) to amend the housing application I put in on Monday when I realised there was no going back. I AM STRONG AND I CAN DO THIS :T:T :D:D He's not going to know whats hit him cause up until now I've been a blubbering wreck but I can't be that anymore for MY daughters sake so he can go do one! :D:j:j

Nicki - I know its difficult but you CAN DO THIS! The council might have some specific programmes to help you. In Scotland, its called 'Working For Families.' Have a look at your local council's website to see what they can offer.

On a separate note, although I live in Scotland, I'm in Liverpool about once a month as thats where my BF lives. I'm arranging to meet up with Olliebeak next time I'm down. If you'd like to meet up with us for coffee/rant/chat, we'd love to see you. We are short of Liverpool girls on the boards!!! xx

sorry Lil)_me but it appears that you can only use clubcard vouchers on brochure prices :(

Good Morning / Afternoon to all

Not had a chance to catch up on the posts today, will try and do so after DD1 swimming lesson.

Just had a phone call from local tesco store to say that they have checked my order and everything is in date and not damaged (will see about the damaged stuff when it gets here). Looks like all my complainig has done some good, last week really did take the p*** when the potatoes arrived 2 days out of date.

Right got to go to the swimming pool, wonder how long it will take be to find a cubical without someones stuff in.

Will catch up when I get back

    Enjoy you afternoon all
