Well done Lil_me!!!!! :j :j :j :j :j :j :j
I have to admit to slipping back to my old ways, £500 overdrawn over 3 accounts... and £500 in a savings account that I refuse to move! Guess the CA and DLA won't be going to savings this month, it's going to clear the OD's and then we are shuffling the bank accounts and moving banks.0 -
I definitely think DS is on the mend. He's been diving around the living room for hours this morning and i am totally worn out. He's been in bed since 2, and i had grand plans, but seriously all i have achieved is wash up, quick swish and swipe around the kitchen, dining table wiped, plus the chair DS sits on as it was covered in soup and yoghurt, then emptied the towels from the TD so i can bath DS later.
We managed the drs and baby clinic this morning. The health visitor rather helpfully suggested that DS might have a case of toddler diarrhoea. No reason, it just happens. And the receptionist wasn't that happy at having to accept the 'poo' sample. She wouldn't touch it and i was holding DS, or more like balancing precariously above my bump, and she was telling me what to write on the bottle and on the paperwork to do it - if any of it were legible in that situation i would be in shock.
I'm just sitting with a cuppa, and i read a bit of a book, but i should try and achieve something. I've decided that i hate being pregnant. I hate the constant changes in my energy levels and feeling like a beached whale. Roll on the next 9 weeks and getting it out of the way.
might have a snooze on the sofa now till DS wakes.

Toddler diarrhoea is what our GP said too michelle! Think they just tell you that to get rid of you so they dont have to do testsThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Credit where it's due pigpen, it's your lists that have made the difference and I only came in to stand in for moggins when she had to leave us for a while, speaking of which I wonder where/how she is....
Tia, know just what you mean, I use my credit card and have it set up to clear the balance every month but some months I consider not doing so, these are DPs debts I am working on now, most of which is his spending & not paying them off. His 'toys' cards as I call them I refuse to even pay 1p off! He spent £9000 on them in a year but is working on them now, thankfully, paid a few thousand off, but only nudged to do so when he had £5000 on the MBNA one and they increased his interest rate from 14.9% to 32.9%! Which of course he didn't even notice for 6 months due to taking no notice of the statements, it was when I found them I noticed. We do have the car on finance which won't be getting paid off early as it's on a very low rate. I'll have one more debt of his paid off next month, possibly end of this one, then that will be 3 gone as I paid one off in January. One a month :rotfl: must be a personal record!
Free listing this weekend for 1p-99p listings if that helps anyone?

Ds2 collected, I then got dragged back out to the park, he's not wanting to go to football because of his bad leg so I don't have to stand in the cold/rain tonight. I'm in 2 minds to how bad it is, but he didn't run and was being very careful at the park.
Michelle, pleased to hear your DS is on the mend, you'd think the receptionist would be a bit better at dealin with what they do on a daily basis, it's only poo for goodness sake. I'd have just handed it over and told her afterwards what it wasOh and lesson to be learned, don't make grand plans because they don't usually work out that way! Get yourself some rest, keep you energy for when you are juggling 2 little ones.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyone
Back from a boring day at work, sorry, I feel a bit carp today, no specific reason, think I must be a bit tired. Watched Message in a Bottle on DVD a bit too late, but it was worth it, Kevin Costner :j . I seem to be attracted to these teary movies.

Online banking checked, why do I never find any forgotten income there? At least after reading MSE I don't find the forgotten expenses very often. I go shopping, see something I like then can't bring myself to buy it. It takes a bit of getting used to. I keep looking at things and thinking - is it worth it?, do I need it?
