Ideas for card craft beginner

Here is my apperture card hope you like it as i dont :rotfl: used a cream apperture card using my 3 daisy punches i punched a load of daisys out then layerd them up to make my flower topper and i put a gem in the middle then around the apperture i placed small daisys and put a gem on each one and at the bottom of the card i put my birthday greeting.

Polly, the daisies are the cutest. And the layering was such a good idea. It is a really pretty card, can't see why you are not happy with it, it is lovely, honest.

Yes i got the daisy punches at lakeland they were 3 for £9.99 they are fantastic so easy to work with

Good evening everyone! My Mum and sister popped up to visit today, and my Mum had bought me a digital camera for my birthday (last week), so I must get a printer now!
I would be really grateful if anyone could advise me of a cheapish printer that I could use for card making and for ordinary pictures. I don't want to pay heaps for ink all the time!! Thanks in advance!
I have started my aperture card today, and I am determined not to use decoupage on it, but I am a bit unsure as to what to put in the middle. So far I have used a punch to make some flowers (the 99p one in home bargains), but I can't seem to get the middle right! I will try again tomorrow. Good night ladies!!
