i am in need of help please. I have been making cards and scrapbooking for a couple of years - still refining my techniques! I like trying new things and have recently discovered decoupage - i love it! However, i really want to be able to do my own pictures, and need advice on a programme which would enable me to print from clip art, scanned pics etc. I need to be able to print four on a page and have them identical in size. Has anybody any ideas please?
Thank you in advance.heading4pension

Hiya All, and marilyn, there is a technical forum part of mse that will probably be able to answer your query, unless anyone else knows here...? I personally use picasa2, a free photo editing part of google, which is great, you can edit, print 4 photos at a time, etc. Not sure about adding clipart...
Anyway, I came on to say at (almost) the last minute that I've done my B&W card. Here it is:It took quite a while but what I did was scan an old photo that I took yonks ago, printed it out onto linen-effect paper and then embossed it with clear powder to bring out the grain (not sure you can see that on the photo). I then used some self-adhesive mirror paper, black card and white paper to mat & layer and also stencilled some hearts with a black pen. I also coloured some red heart sequins black to fit the theme;) and stuck all the various parts together. I went around the edges with a black pen and then printed out the wording 'Love you forever' in 'Word' - and there you have it! (phew!) The mirrored background, hearts and the ribbon effect are a very shiny (not lumpy!) silver but you can't tell by the photo.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
