This isn't the best/right place to ask that question. In this Spec Occ & Celebrations area there is a special section for wedding questions - you could ask in there if anyone could recommend anybody. Alternatively, try this thread:

where they mention auctions for handmade items (also try ebay perhaps?)

Thanks for the compliments!
I used a purple swirly patterned paper as the background (from a pack by Blonde Moments, they do lovely, modern, arty papers etc. I've been to their main base in Harrogate and they have their nicest designs on big canvasses around the shop, wish I could buy them! Anyway, back to the card...:rotfl: ) and stuck on a mulberry paper butterfly.
The 'thank' is on another scrap of paper from the previously mentioned paper pack and I used the stencil from this month's Papercraft Inspirations to do the writing as mine is terrible! I added a bit of pink polka dot ribbon to make it stand out a bit more. The 'YOU' is made up of 3 chipboard letters from a box I got at a craft fair. Each letter is good for 2 letters IYKIM as you punch out the middle and you can use them to make letters too. As they are glossy white I primed them then painted them with some pearly purple paint. I threaded the pink ribbon through the gaps in the letters, luckily they have a self adhesive backing so the ribbon stuck in place when I was positioning the letters on the paper!
I love chipboard letters but the problem is that I use the popular letters first and end up with the letters that no-one uses!:rolleyes:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Hi Crannog, that's an interesting interpretation, "haunting" - I can see what you mean though... The couple on the photo were actually on the top of a hill looking over the countryside at a sunset - not knowing I was behind with my camera. I like the image tho' and plan to use it again using glorious technicolour backgrounds next time...
Curious to know about your cards too, Crannog, did you use acrylic or oil paints and what type of paper was that? Do you do larger canvasses and cut interesting bits out of them? (We're all nosey here, don't you know? :rotfl: )
Hiya Qwiksave, my pieces are mixed media (but mostly oil paint) and yes, the cards I produce are from bigger paintings that don't quite make it!:rotfl:The silver, gold and black that I generally use is tile outliner and the paper is canvas. I didn't know you took the photo yourself, it's a beautiful shot.0 -
Thanks, I love ribbon and use it all the time! I got a big bundle of polka dot ribbon in loads of different colours so get used to seeing it! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
