Hello Everyone, Nice to see some new faces popping in here, don't forget you are welcome to take on our weekly challenges!

I've been encountering more technical problems with my black & white card! I hope to do another one tonight when the kids are in bed but in the meantime you can see a card I made yesterday for one of my son's friends 8th birthdays. My boys ought to do them really but they aren't into arty stuff so I get to have all the fun! :D
    robotcard.jpg

Pictures from catalogue of saucepan, telephone and forks, and the metal nut, button, staple and wire stuck on with superglue.

It's nearly black & white - apart from the blue but yeah, I know (sigh!).... I gotta do a proper one!...:D

crannog - two lovely cards you posted there..........keep 'em coming

qwiksave - how ingenious.............I'd never have thought of doing something like that. It's brilliant.

Amazing how we all come up with such different designs.

Might get around to having a go at my Thankyou card tomorrow.

Mary, your card is gorgeous again, great eye for detail.

Crannog, interesting card, the texture is lovely, did you paint it? The colours on the love heart are really nice, how did you do that?

Thanks Mary, I wouldn't have thought of it either - my two boys have got a selection of art/craft books 'for kids' and I get quite a few good ideas from them (Usbourne do a great range, worth checking 'em out in your local library)....

I would have done this robot a bit differently if I'd had more time but I left it 'till the very last minute, as usual...:D
