    Lovely card mumoftwo!

    Minimacka that is stunning :)

A little thankyou bunbun ... long way to go though as always!

A brad as far as I am aware is similar to a split pin where you push it through then split it at the back. Won't be able to do this weeks challenge as I don't have anything like that and money is tight so must resist the urge to buy some. lol

I don't have any of those either so will give the challenge a miss this week. I have to make a card for ds friend and not sure what to do yet so will have to think about that.

  • Lovely card Mumoftwo - I'm sure your Mum will be very impressed.
Craftygranny - OH says he knows her!!!
Minimacka - oh my GOD - I love your mini book. Did it take long to make and was it easy to do. I bet you'll be making loads now after the success with this one.
Maisiesmum, the challenges are open to every one. I am very naughty and don't take part in a lot of them, (hangs my head in shame).

    mumoftwo......................love the card - brilliant :T

minimacka - love the book...............need to get my head round some sort of scrapbook for baby grandson (his mum wants me to do one as I did one when he was born) -like the idea of a christmas theme. Was going to do 'family events for the last year' but not sure now........

Hi Melissa - It was really easy to do I just followed these instructions http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1567&Itemid=50 , I was going to do a circle one but I liked the idea of the folds in the square one, i put christmas song words in them and im going to put pictures of the family in them. It took me about 1 hour to make the 4 sides, I decorated them before i finally put it all together. I am going to make some more of these as I think they are so easy and would make a lovely alternative to a christmas card.

Mary - what about using the template like i did but instead of doing a christmas book do a seasonal one for your baby grandson, you could use pictures of him in winter, summer, spring and autum and put seasonal embelishments on it, you could also use the flap to put thoughts/poems in there from you. Or you could do a Christmas one but include pictures of him throughtout the year and then next year you could do another one using next years pictures and so on and so on, then his mom will have some lovely booklets to display at christmas every year.
