I have a fair bit here but now I seem to use it then buy more, I am more of a buy it, use it girl rather than a buy it, stroke it girl. Saying that though I just spent a fair bit on my first decoupage sheets... I cant wait to get them.
I'm definitely the buy it, stroke it type, that's why I knew cardmaking was the perfect hobby for me - I have a stationary fetish!:rotfl:In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -
Big hugs and best wishes to Polly :grouphug::wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

I passed all your get well wishes on to Polly and she says Thanks a lot. She has asked me to keep the challenge going so have to think of a good one for next week, a "get well soon" seems a great idea!
Here is my card for this weeks challenge, it is for my niece who will be a teenager next week. Since the paper was already very busy I kept the embelishments simple, just stuck the sentiments on acetate and fastened with eyelets. Seeing it on a photo, I think I will change the bow and add some beads..0 -
Supercard mumoftwo -as always.:T
Lovely idea to have a Get Well theme for next weeks cards.I've sent her one anyway as I'll not be able to get it onto the siteMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Love the card mumoftwo, really gorgeous!!! I've never had a go with eyelets - is it easy to punch the holes and fix them? Saw a cheapish set in Hobbycraft (by Papermania I think) and fancied having a go but not sure how easy it is - if I'm going to do it, it needs to be easy! :rotfl:
Get well cards sounds like a good plan for next week. I don't really take part in the challenges but for Polly I might just make an exception! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Lovely cards everyone, well done! :T (And well done bunbun for doing your first gatefold card)...
Also please send my best wishes to Polly, mumoftwo, if you are able to.
I agree that a get well soon card would definately be the best idea for next weeks challenge.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -

It was a giftbut I think it was from a retro paperpack from Lakeland, but just looked on their website and can't find it.
eyelets are not hard to do, I have an older setter where you have to use a hammer to punch the hole first and to set the eyelet but there are newer models available, mine still works fine, so will keep using that. I love eyelets, almost as much as gems and brads0 -
