Polly has asked me to post the new challenge, but since she is still in hospital I agree with all the suggestions that we should make this weeks challenge: Get well cards.
Good luck, look forward to seeing all your cards and I am sure Polly is as well.0 -
Thanks mumoftwo, hope polly is OK and on the road to recovery.
I've still got stuff going on - in fact my hubby has gone to America for work today - for 3 weeks!! There was even a possibility of me going for a week but don't think that's going to happen (shame!)...
Finally got chance to do last weeks challenge today, I was going to do the writing of 'Congratulations' on the computer but DS was playing games on it - so I had to handwrite it. May change it as I only used a temporary fix glue. The colours were of course black & silver ('cos white doesn't count!):

Lovely card quiksave i love the writing on the front. It is a very elegant and expensive looking card.
Hope polly feels much better soon

Nice card qwiksave, no need to change the writing, it looks great, wish I could write my sentiments like that, would save me a lot of bother with peel-offs.
Here is my card for Polly, it is really simple, but I loved the paper so I thought it didn't need much fuss. Someone mentioned a few pages back about not having fancy tools and just sticking things down. Apart from the eyelets which could easily be left out or replaced by small buttons or round dots(peel offs) this is one on those cards..0 -
mumoftwo - super card as always. Such a simple design but so effective.
Haven't quite finished mine yet so I won't describe it just in case I change my mind.Mary
