thank you for saying all my cards are different i am still at the cut and stick stage really i like what i do but want to try something else

I have bought a couple of stamps and they came with inkpads but the images look to harsh and sudgy they were only 99p for a stamp and inkpad does cheap ink look worse than more expensive ink ???

Craft granny/mary43, the waterfall card was really easy, all the pieces were die cuts and the sheet came with instructions, its really simple once you've done one.
Shaz the gardening decoupage sheet was from craftybargains website. Its from "design house ltd", and its called "one fine day tender care". The decoupage sheet cost 69p (you get two images), and the backing paper cost 59p (bit expensive I know, but I couldn't resist). They were really easy to cut out. They also do a similar one with a man called "one fine day spade work" that I've got but haven't done yet! There's some great decoupage on the website, I got a lot of "buzzcraft" products, they are the make of the other cards I posted apart from the farm. Its free p+p if you spent £12.50.

Just had a letter from one of the boys we fostered some years ago.......he now has his own house so sent me his new address.Feel I ought to do him a 'welcome to your new home' card............not that easy for someone in his early 20's.
Just been for my last session with my counsellor and had made her a 'thankyou' card...............she was thrilled to bits with it. Made my morning.

Well done melissa and shaz, you're very quick of the mark! I haven't even begun to think of what I'm gonna do for the decoupage challenge. I have a vague idea that I will be using free images of the internet (as I did with my little boy 'Speed Racer' card) but no idea of the subject yet - as I've said before I'm not a flowery/decoupagey type person - but I am willing to have a go - that's what these challenges are all about, getting us to tackle subjects and maybe techniques we don't normally try! (savvy! :D )

Ah! Mary its lovely that you 'made your morning' with a homemade card well received - well done you! :T

Thanks qwiksave - it was lovely to know it was appreciated and she hadn't expected anything at all.
Well, I've done a couple of 'decoupage' and posting them off to polly tomorrow (you must promise not to laugh................... :rotfl: )
I was doing one of them and OH decided to be 'creative' .................lol So, one of them is part me and part him:j
