Thanks Bails
I take all the losses and gains in my stride now, I know that's how it's going to be and I completely accept it.
I have decided to raise my "upper" BMI limit back to 21. I have not been having much joy staying under 20.5 so I think this is too low for me. Hopefully I will be able to stay under 21 at all times, even with huge massive holiday gain weeks
Have munched my way through 976 calories today which I know is too low but I felt like a "kick start" day was needed after last week's excesses. Will try to stick to 1200 for the rest of the week and exercise every day except Sunday.
Wendy I posted your dvd on the way back from tennis so I hope you get that OK!0 -
Can plse ask a quick q?
When I use the cross trainer at the gym I get a wee bit of pain up my calfs & find it very hard to do more than 2 mins.
Its been suggested this happens because I cant put my heels fully down.
Does this sound about right?
Was at a birthday party & I have eaten a few naughty things.Ooops.
Well as Ive always said life does sometimes get in the way!
Beanie, once again sorry for missing your post. Most cross trainers I know of allow you to adjust the slope that you use?? Is it not possible to adjust yours to be a little more horizontal? On the ones in my gym its the resistance level that adjusts the slope? Failing that check with an instructor? The only other thought I have is you cant fully put your heel down is that your calves are tight and not fully stretched? A simple calf stretch may help. I googled THIS It might be of some help?? Again check with the instructor?
Hope this helps

I will leave well alone in future!
How are they? A friend of mine hurt a couple of his ribs and he said it hurt like hell, even when he breathed. Ouch!
