You'd think a teenager would jump at the chance to smash something up!! Tell him he's not allowed to touch it, that might get him eyeing it up! :rotfl:A little reverse pyschology!

Ran another full 15 minutes on the treadmill again today!! :D That's 3 times now. I seem to be recovering a lot quicker too.
I took the dog out the other day, and on one route I take her there is a steep hill. I used to have to stop halfway up to catch my breath, but now I can get all the way to the top just panting slightly! Having lost almost 2 stone I'm really starting to feel healthier & see my body changing. I can't wait to see what I'm like when I lose the next 2 stone, I'll be running up that hill!

    PPP and Raphael Well done!

I wish could do without my scales. I get a bit too obsessed with them. Don't think I could go cold turkey!

Raphael - which treadmill do you have? Is it noisy and does it take up much space? I would love one - I could fit in 10 mins here 10 mins there instead of having to get all togged up and go around the park. Whilst we do run in all conditions, we have been out in rain, gales, fog and snow, I do hate going out in bad weather. I just worry about it being too noisy for the neighbours and then where would I fit it in the house!

Unfortunatly it's not mine, it belongs to the gym! :rotfl:I love being out in bad weather, I think it's a lot more fun than being in the beating sun. I can't wait until I feel comfortable enough to go running outside. I'm going to stick to the treadmill for a little longer, then might join the gyms running club in a few months.
