Hey everyone
Congrats to the latest losers, Kymrob you're doing an amazing job there, seems like multiple lbs every single week! Remind me which method you're using? Well done
Beanie/Tagz I don't suppose your sheds are the type you could offer on Freecycle for the taker to "dismantle" it themselves?
Wendy I've got a (virtually new) "Easy Pilates" dvd that I don't want anymore, if that interests you I'd be happy to send it your way.
Ajax, you cynic, questioning the given weight of a 'celeb'Sure they wouldn't dream of exaggerating
Was watching one of the news channels this morning, they did a piece about food and said for every 3 bags of food shopping we bring home, 1 goes to waste in this country. Well not in my house and I'm sure lots of you fellow MSEers will say the same!0 -
Kymrob :jand lilmissmup :j well done!
I think digging out the swimsuit is a good idea. Gives you a boost/incentive either way. If you need motivation to lose more weight it helps but also if you have lost some you can see where! It would help me to wear it all the time so I wouldn't be tempted by the biccies but the kids and the postman might object! Roll on the summer!:DI would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Morning MissyG
Sadly my shed is made from breezeblocks. I would love to recycle it but it has to be knocked down (asbestos roof too ).
Wasting a bag of shopping is not an option here. I've got four kids, three of them teenagers or near to being. They have hollow legs! My eldest is six foot three , skinny, but eats for England (he obviously inherited my genes......NOT!). The other two lads are following in his footsteps too. It's like feeding time at the zoo sometimes at dinner!:DI would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
retiredlady wrote: »I prepare the cous cous in the normal way - just the plain stuff. You can have it hot or cold according to your preference. I then add some fresh blueberries and chopped strawberries (any chopped fruit would do) and then mix in a syn free yogurt. You can vary the portions of each item as much as you like and make a huge bowl or just a little bowl and it is all free food on SW.
Sounds delish, never thought of usuing cous-cous as a sweet, rather than a savory. I've only got flavoured packets of cous-cous in my cupboards at the mo, so will grab a bag of plain next time I pop to the shops.
also this week someone at work noticed i lost weight! but she will not tell anyone and she cant believe it and that nobody else have noticed!! :rotfl:
It was such a good feeling when the first person in work asked me if I've lost weight. Now everyone seems to be asking, I spurs me on to keep it up!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

LOL missy, I really shouldn't question what is obviously the truth, I know
Anyone remember the original celebrity fit club when Rik Waller got on the scales at 31 stone and was visibly surprised? Flip me, Rik, what were you expecting them to say, you numpty? 12 stone 6?!?!?! That was pure comedy.
I have to put my hand up (not the whole hand, kpc, don't worry) and say we waste too much, especially veg. It's more MrsA than me, but I'm equally irked by the both of us. My dinner yesterday was nothing but a whole pot of Tesco LC swede/carrot mash because it had to be up then or never. MrsA seems to think nothing of throwing veg in the composter. Saying anything doesn't seem to work.
Still trying to come to terms with a "lovely maroon"0 -

i started with the rosemary connolly 5 day fat burner (i think thats what its called). its split into 5 10minute workouts so never seems impossible to do, just 10mins. its easy to follow as well. 3 of the workouts are aerobics the other two are toning.0 -

Wendy, MrsA recommends the Hollyoaks workout video - she said that really puts you through your paces and, as it's quite old now, should be cheap as syn-free chips on Ebay.
It's soooo quiet in here today, everyone must be out losing weight and getting fit. I'm at work and have 2 Explorer windows in between work - this one and the updating of the leaderboard of the current Ladies European Tour golf event. Hmm... does that sound just a touch sad? lol0
