Woops, I was a bit late posting for the chart, but it was a STS anyway so it doesn't matter. I'm not actually too miffed about the STS, as I pigged out at the start of the week and was seriously expecting a gain. I think I got a little complacent with my 6lb loss last week.

I'm keeping up with the gym, I accidentaly stayed on the treadmill for 17 minutes the other day! I do 15 minutes with mixture of running and walking (maximum so far is 12 minutes running) and I must have been thinking in 24 hour clock (1700 = 5pm) or something. I want to run the full 15 minutes by the time I have my review on 4th April.

    Hi

    What a friendly thread!

I'd like to join you please.

I've been a serial dieter for years - lost 54lbs with WW in 2003 to get to my target weight, but the weight has steadily crept back up since then, and I've tried a variety of diets, losing a few pounds then putting them back on.

I'm going to start out eating healthier, rather than follow one of the recognised diets, and also try and up the exercise (by walking, I hate gyms!)

If I could lose 5lb per month I'd be well-chuffed! I've never been a person who loses more than 2lbs a week, and will have to be happy with a slow steady loss, so taking a deep breath I got on the scales at Boots this afternoon, and will weigh myself every Wednesday, and update on this post.

Tingly: Welcome to the board, i hope the menopause hasnt clawed you in horrendously early. We weigh in every wed as you can probably see! Its fun here, all the people rally round to motivate every aspect of your life, not just the flab!

Granny: Sorrry again! It was a maintain anyway, i never got around to coming back on :( Just shows you that pooing and the alike gets you no where fast! I promise to be early this week! As for your daughters lump, they may take it out as a precaution. Better in than out. Also it may be because it might turn nasty in years to come, or it might be the kind that continues to grow. I had a cyst on my 2nd metertarsel that wasnt cancerous but they took it out, mainly because it was the worst pain i'd felt and because it was gradually getting bigger over the years. Maybe its the same?

Thanks for the homage granny:) a cheery end to a very horrid day. And thanks for the chart. Yes I should down size it as you see fit - peeps can always be put back in if they reappear. Great news re your DD. I have no idea why they are removing it but the suggestions so far sound likely. Lots of welcomes essix and tingly - you're right this is a very friendly and supportive forum: please join in lots:)Well done mumof twins. Still really chuffed for you beaney, and victory/Mr victory today.Pining for purple...
