Rang today and caller pretended to be an individual looking for my foster daughter, said she borrowed £10000 GBP from him 7 months ago. I told them she was not available and he said he didn't know what he was going to do because he needed the money back, he pretended he was really upset but when I asked who was calling he hung up. I did 1471 and got this number 02030043199 which when I phoned it had a recorded message saying 'this service is no longer available". My foster daughter was frantic when I told her because she has recently been the victim of identity fraud! I think it is disgusting.

This shower of con-men just called me an hour ago. I put the phone down on them and they called back using all sorts of atrocious language.

If they ever call back again they will be getting a rape alarm down the end of the telephone. That's the only language these morons understand.

Over the last month i have received numerous calls from this company, most of the time getting to the phone only for them to hang up on me, and like other people ive tried to call the number back but got the automated message that "service is no longer available", this company is totally doing my head in, im also on BT TPS but its not stopping them from getting through, my boyfriend googled the number which brought us to this site, and looking through peoples responses they have had 3 different addresses over the last 3 years, how do they get away with it, something should be done, now ive wrote this ill be contacting consumer direct and ofcom to register my complaint, enough is enough

We moved to our current address back in July '08 and have been plagued almost daily by these people ever since. After this morning's phone call from them I called the Birmingham number and explained that should we receive any further calls we would be instructing solicitors - she removed the number from their database there and then.

Time will tell!

I'm another newbie to the site (joined a few weeks ago as interested in saving money). However, we keep getting calls from this number and having googled it, I landed up here! Having read through the various posts, have just registered with Telephone Preference Service and keeping fingers crossed that will work!

Had my first call from this company 9am this morning, the only message left was some Indian Guy saying hello hello.

The interesting thing is I have only had my ex-directory number for 3 weeks and I have not given it to anyone yet.

I wonder were they got it from.

I have just had a phone call from City Credit Management asking me to consolidate my debts with them.

First of all they couldn't get their story straight about whether they were based in Manchester, Liverpool or Leicester.

Second i asked for my details to be removed which they ignored and carried on trying to sell me a loan.

Thirdly i asked to be passed on to a manager who was rude, didn't listen when i asked for my details to be removed and proceeded to laugh at me and call me an idiot.

Fourthly i stated that if my details weren't removed and it wasn't evidenced with a company headed letter that i would proceed to call a soliciter and start legal proceeding's to which he replied "go ahead". He then continued trying to sell me a loan.

Yes, i said SELL me a loan!

Finally, when i told him i had found this forum on which it was stated that they are a scamming company and have been reported to Trading Standards...


He hung up on me!
