  • oh of course not hun. Even if you think you have you more than likely havent. Ohhh yes I will never miss meals, when I was younger I tried that and I was ill for weeks. I will never do that again. I do look at money differently but sometines thats a bad thing too. I think finding that balance hasnt quite come to me though... it will soon however. Now if I had a £ for everytime someone said that about my self control, I dont know where I get it from mind but I wouldnt be without it now :D

Update wise nothing much happening, except I gave in today and brought some breakfast and dinner at work  I really dont know whats wrong with me, I never did it before so why have I started now? I need to be serious with myself because today I have spent at least £4 on food :o add that up over the week  I think my problem is there in no variety in my lunch its the same 3/4 items every day, down to the roll filling. So I am going to hunt out some alternatives, it may however mean adding something to help out with food costs but if it helps me 'try' and save money and lose my extra weight all is good :) Other than that, thats me. Oh but I have 'made' £5 (once the cheque arrives) from my old, broken mobile :D That takes my new one down to £23 :j Oh and no bt bill yet  I will phone them payday if I have had no bill by then, also it may mean a change in my soa but will shall sort that out as and when :D

    take care all :A
  • Ummm big upset, I was sent home from work today ill. I could hardly stay awake and gave in when I burnt myself. Its a side effect of my anti d's but I just thought I had a bad back and thought I would get over it. The big thing is I wont get payed for it, its silly how sickness is worked out. Basically if you have over a certain amount of time off you arnt payed... however to get payed again you need to work at least 6months before you have anymore sickness off  Obviously I havent worked a full 6months yet so I will have a days wage missing next month, however I think I wont be going in tommorow either. I have been to the docs and have tablets but the pain is so bad it keeps me awake and thus I am tired working. I will see how I feel tommorow. But obviously this has met a prescription plus I have spent abit on other medication that I thought was wrong with me so in a word I think this months soa isnt going to work and I wont be able to sort it out untill payday, ho hum. Nevermind though I am sure I will survive :D

Hi pap, the artist formerly known as fac here... sorry you're unwell, but Gemmzie is right, you have to put your health first, don't worry about work, concentrate on yourself x
  • Thanks so much all, I have decided I will not go in tommorow, I have to think of myself and if I go back tommorow whats to say I wont be fit for the weekend? I would rather have tommorow off and then go back on saturday refreshed. Its no loss to the company anyway as its not like I will be payed. I am not going to worry about my soa just now, I havent the energy to think of what I will be doing in the next hour let alone in a week. I think I will deal with that all on tuesday night :)

    Good! :T

Hope you feel better soon Pap. It's miserable being ill. I can't seem to shake off a cold at the moment and the weather we've had doesn't help.

The sun is out now though, but for how long?!
  • Thanks daphane, I didnt go in and I am glad I didnt because I have been asleep on and off since 7am when I woke up to phone them, Sorry you have a cold, I hate colds in summer, it just doesnt seem 'right' :rotfl: The tablets have started to work I still have the pain but I feel a little bit more comfortable. The sun is shining here too but for how long.... :rotfl:

Well good news, the bt bill arrived and I am in credit :j £116.59 to be exact :rotfl: so a refund will be sent, when I have no idea as it says it will be sent shortly. However that sorts my soa out some what and I may be able to save extra this month too
  • Well as promised I have managed to upload 36 books onto green met :j That is basically all my books except some childhood ones (4) all my dan browns (4) my harry potter books (7) and then just the 4 new ones I recived today and watership down which I really realy want to read :rotfl: Lets hope some of them sell. I am also now going to attempt to list some things in turbo lister to set live tommorow night. Ohhh feel more motivated today than I have felt all month :rotfl:
