Thanks raph and sarah for the suggestions. I looked on the internet on saturday night for a phone but all the one I liked were either out of stock or high in price. In the end I decided on the sony ericsson w200i. I have had a sony before and loved it and would still have it now if it didnt go faulty:rolleyes: Anyways it was £40 in argos (where I planned to buy it) only mum mentioned that they had a simmaler model in work. So while she was doing overtime and I was at work today see went investigating and got me the model I wanted, in black (instead of orange) for £29.99... but then I got discount and it was only £27.00 :j woo hoo. I dont mind that at all, I did however find a very very nice one for £99 but I didnt give in :j I have a different price plan on this phone which means I can have 300 free texts each month as long as I top up with £10 each month. Now I dont use that much really anyways so I am unsure if this will work for me. If it doesnt I will just change my price plan
Other than that not much happening. I got payed for my cakes I made on friday but I have kept the money as its payment for the orginal ingredients I had to buy. Sorting out budgets and stuff tonight so that will keep me busy

I got my new phone last week and gave her the old one to play with, thinking she would be thrilled to finally be allowed to get her hands (and teeth) on it properly, but no, she just chucked it on the floor in disgust.....NOW she wants the NEW phone! :rotfl: :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi all sorry I havent been around updating things, not much going on really. Been very tired lately so I have taken the decision to ask work if I can be moved to as many lates as posiible, they have agreed but I need to put it in writing. Hopefully this will help with all the sleeping I seem to be doing lately. Money wise I am fine. I have had a rebate on some national insurance I payed to do with my busniess which I didnt need to as my turnover is so small. Everything this month is payed and I have quite a lot spare ~ however I still have to pay bt. Have about £180 and pay day is in 12 days :j Just doing my budget for next month and I think I will go back to saving, I know I said I would have a year off but I have spent nearly £1k this month and apart from some stamp sets, bedside cabinets and a pc game I have nothing to show for any of it  It could of all went into savings which I am kicking myself for. Need to look at my savings accounts actually because I have no idea whats in where. Going to finish my budget for this coming month and sort myself out. Oh and I also owe my argos card £40 because my brother used it (on 7 months 0%) for a console but it need to be above a certain level to get the offer so I brought some things, I will pay that off payday (or before). Oh and I have also failed losing weight, I am back up to my starting weight this time  not sure how I feel about that right now to be honest... I am going to have a think about it while I have a bath and decide what to do... I shall be back

so hear is my soa's for july
£175.00 ~ mum/rent (I think I am keeping £70 to cover the holiday I booked this month, however I am unsureif I do that will be thrown in my savings anyway)
£5.00 ~ internet
£11.00 ~ house insurance
£50.00 ~ bus cards
£10.00 ~ wlr
£55.00 ~ Halifax ~ locked
£35.00 ~ Halifax ~ web saver
£42.20 ~ stamping up
£40.00 ~ argos
£100.00 ~ holiday savings
£120.00 ~ savings ~ locked
£643.20 = £106.80 left over
Now bearing in mind that £100 is probably all what I have to pay bt I am planning on the £100 I have in my accounts now to see me through to august. I am also on a craft shopping ban, I am allowed my stamping up purchase (which is already budgetted) and thats it!
Savings at the moment is ok I suppose but it could be a lot better  I have a total of £790.06most of its in my locked saver that matures in september but that will be thrown back into the locked saver once it matures. to sit there another year. I have a small amount in my isa too, which is included in that amount.
Holiday is in september :j so I am throwing £100 into my empty halifax websaver (the acount I filter all my savings into to split into my isa/locked) on july and august so thats £200 spending money plus I go after payday so I 'should' have another £100 if needed. this may sound excessive but this time I want to go with too much whereas the last to time I havent taken enough.
With regards to my weight I will try and watch the callories and start again. I have just given up these past few weeks because of work/sleeping pattern. I am never going to be a slim jim but I am sure my body can lose some more lbs to go under 16st, I am sure its not that impossible. Anywyas here goes having a good day so far, but maybe if I stop taking my purse to work and stop buying meals/breakfast I will shift it quicker. So as I am only in tommorow and I plan to go fruit and veg shopping after work as of monday my purse will not be in my bag I will leave it at home, I will, I will :rotfl:
Ummm I think that is it... :rotfl:0 -
Well the £70 is mine from the rent money... however thomas' frontline is due  so I think it will be about £40 into savings instead. Bit annoyed today as I have been ill and left on my own most of the day in work. I also had to spend £6 on medication  Sttill not well but heading off for bed soon. I am off this weekend so that will be nice
Take care all, thanks for stoping by :j0 -
Hello..... just got in from work
Is the Frontline for fleas or worms? I can never remeber.....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Hi sarah, frontline is for fleas, its the only thing that works on him. On our old cat we could get away with using the cheap stuff but nothing will touch thomas' residents except frontline. I am the only one (well except the cat) that benifits from it though as they seem to enjoy eating me  Me and mum decided to take it in turns to buy courses of treatment for him, its my turn now
Been having a big clean today and got rid of a lot of things I have been holding onto from my past. Not nice things either but 'baggage' now its all in two black bags and I have loads of free drawer space :rotfl: I have also found a small box full of goodies to put on ebay however at the moment I feel like shoving that in a black bag too :rotfl:
Not spent anything really these past two days, used up the money I had in my purse on a friday treat in work ~ food againand I also needed some medication yesterday. So after feeding my terrimundi I have £12 to last me untill pay day :j That then leaves me £100 in my spends acc and some odd £s in my bills account. That means heading into julys payday I am all set to run with the soa above :j woo :j With that £12 I need some woodshavings for the rabbit and I will have to get some water
seems simple eh.
Well thats me for another day. Not in work till monday then on lates all week which I am looking forward tothen its payday woo hoo :rotfl:

Hey pap, try www.vetuk.co.uk for cheap frontline.
Fleas prefer sweet blood, does your mum & bro eat the same amount of sugar as you?
When we had cats my brother & step-dad were always bitten, they both used to have tea with 2-3 sugars. I didn't eat many sweet things and was rarely bitten.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!
