  • I dont know gem, if I had my laptop (I am supposed to be saving for that ) then I would definatly have it installed but because I have a desktop I see no point really. Anyway I have found a modem for £30 but thinking about it my brother said I could just use his for £5 a month so unsure what to do now. I will get the modem and see what happens.

Wooo hoo I am so happy I have a few days off, I know I am not doing anything much but just having the time off is fab :D Not looking forward to the party tonight though but nevermind :p

edit ~ ohhh forgot o say I put on 2lb this week, I havent really be watching what I have been doing so thats why :)

Just think pap, if you buy a modem for £30 it's a one off price. If you pay your brother £5 a month to use his then thats only 6 months worth.

  • What a difference a few days make :rotfl:

Gem, I went the party it was fabby :D So glad I went it isnt really my thing but I enjoyed it and got to learn a bit more about my fellow workers so its all good :j

Right bt is now not providing my house :j Basically after buying a new modem it still wouldnt work (I returned to modem so didnt lose any money). After phoning them up they decided that it may be the line and they will test it and get back to me today. They just have and apparently its fixed.... ummmm no. They have now decided they need to do a 'deeper' test of the line that could take 10 days, I think not. So after lots of phonecalls I have now cancelled everything, my broadband and the phone line. My brother gets tv, broadband and phone for £30 a month so we are all chipping in. I have cancelled my direct debit for this month and a bill will arrive in 14days for me to pay the last bits. Unsure how much this will be but we shall see. I now pay my brother £5 for the internet per month :rotfl:

However this messes up my soa as I now will have to pay mum the full rent increase £175. However taking into account that it will only cost £180 with broaudband and up untill now I would have been paying £200 I still save £20 :j

Bit worried about the bill however because the last quarter still had £30 outstanding and I also have to pay a £6 cancellation charge but I have £214 in my spends account and £65 orginally for bt and £39 spare in my bills account so I am not overly worried :)

Not much else happening here, spent a little bit on the weekend as I visited a different craft shop but not too much. having a day at home today. have a little bit of cleaning to do and then going to have some fun :rotfl:

    Ah! Didn't realise that!!

Looks like you got it all sorted anyway!

Glad you're feeling happy today, I've been very cheerful all day too, not specific reason why (or it might be the 4 lbs I lost this week!)
How are you doing on your weight loss?
