Gem I love the movies however with a very big shortage of friends to go with I rarely go. However the one I want to go and see is wall.e. Its actually a childrens film but I have loved seeing the trailers etc so I have to go and see it. I also like the look of wanted, however its one of those movies that if I dont like I tend to switch it off, so I will wait untill I can rent that
Ohhh and my brother wants to see kung fo panda hehe. Its lovely going to the cinema in summer, reminds me of my school holidays :rotfl:

Anyways off work tommorow so going to catch up on sleep.
I'm reading a book on sleep at the moment, it very interesting. The best thing might be to have a nap when you get home, then get up again for the evening.
The nap shouldn't be longer than about 15-20 minutes as after that you go into deep sleep (REM) and it's harder to wake up.
15-20 minutes is ample to refresh you and not spoil you nights sleep.

I always think movies are a one person thing, if I am going to sit in silence watching a film for 2 hours, I won't be talking to a friend anyway!
I want to go see Kungfu Panda

I agree with that, I love going to the cinema on my own! When I used to work even weirder shifts than I do now, I regularly went to late night showings of stuff on my own, while Stu and Ryan were tucked up in bed asleep. It was great - I could choose exactly what film I wanted to see, and I didn't have to spend a fortune on popcorn and drinks!
I'd do it more often if only I had the energy! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I wish I had the guts to go to the cinema on my own but always afraid of seeing people I know
PAP - I want to see that too! Hopefully going to take my niece but depends when it's playing. I really don't see her and my nephew enoughI'm interested in Wanted but can't sit through films like that in the cinema, not sure why. I really want to see Mamma Mia, Dark Knight and Hancock too

The only reason I would worry about seeing people I know is in case they want to sit with me!
I am really not very social, am I??? :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Sorry all, posted and ran, busy making cake orders at the momment
raph ~ I couldnt sleep for 15min though I have to sleep for longer. Yesterday I came in about 5.30pm and by 6pm I was asleep. Didnt wake up untill 8.20pm though  Ohhh I love going to the cinema on my own too but its a bit weird.
snaggs ~ :rotfl: I do agree with it being much more cheaper on your own. At the moment the price have just gone up £8 to see one movie! Then when you go with other people and add on drinks etc its really pricey
gem ~ Yep wall.e is a must and I shall be going. Sorry to hear you dont see your nephew/neice as often as you want too. Thats the problem when everyone has busy lives though. Mamma mia I have been looking at but not sure if I would go.
Maybe we should all go to see one of the movies one night and then we can come back and review it here :rotfl:
right back to cake making :rotfl:0 -
£8!: Ours is normally £6/£7.50 (for the posh room) but the member price is £3.99 so I'm going to get myself a card
