I can resist chocolate for days and days on end but then when I cave in, instead of having one piece or a small bar, I have to GORGE on it - a family sized bar will do me :o

I am exactly the same, fac, although, obviously, I can't use the same excuse. :rotfl: :rotfl:
I went to buy a bar of chocolate, in ASDA, and noticed that the price for their own brand 200 gramme bar had gone up from 55p to 75p   so decided to resist. Then I looked at the 'reduced' shelf and there were bars of 'Dr Oetker' Continental Milk Chocolate reduced from 89p to 53p, so I bought two. I ate one on my round and it was absolutely delicious. It was only when I got home last night that my wife told me that it is, in fact, 'Cooking Chocolate' :rotfl: :rotfl:
Still, it was good enough for me - I might even buy another bar later today - if there's any left.

Thanks, PaP - the 'Cooking Chocolate' is great - it seems to last a lot longer than ordinary chocolate (doesn't 'melt' quite so quickly in the mouth) and it certainly 'delivers'. :T :T

I was given a 'Terry's Chocolate Orange' Easter Egg, by work, yesterday - and have it 'stashed' safely away until Sunday.

  • Hi all Coucou24.gif back out of hiding. Didnt know if anyones noticed but I havent posted on this board/mse since 21/3 ~ 4 whole days. I dont want to go into details about why and such but lets just say its been nice to get away from budgeting my own money to the last penny! I have had a lovely weekend (albiet working) and a brilliant two days off. My money/savings are kinda gone but for once I didnt care that I spent so much money in such a short amount of time. Dont know what else to say really just I have feel of the wagon but so glad I did as for once I didnt care how/where my money was going and I still dont now. Dont know truely if I want to get back on if I am honest but I will be here lurking.

Anyways speak soon, off to declutter this diary now. Take care

Oh honey - big hugs to you - glad you had a good time off. Sometimes we need a big blowout where we just don't have to think about the money etc. I know this weekend I had other issues to deal with and yes, probably spent too much, but it's with it to save you going mad sometimes!!! :)
And I did notice you weren't around, even though I've not been around much either...

  • hey spud and sea :grinheart Thanks its been nice but now I am facing it all I have realised I have been a tad stupid  Lets just say, thank heavens for my locked savings so I havent lost it all. Not overly bothered about my savings anymore but I definatly 'owe' my busniess account money. However I am not worrying about this as I will sort it all out on pay day. Between now and payday whatever is in my current account/enters my current account I am not counting. I will get back on the waggon and sort out this mess on payday, now I will just chill, whats done is done.
