Sorry to hear your having a bad day hun
Hold on for the game, the pre-order prices aren't even up on some sites yet, so it might change and then you'd kick yourself, it's not out for ages anyway.

:grouphug:Pap, you are way too hard on yourself you know. You work hard all week and deserve to spend a bit of money on yourself. Don't beat yourself up about it. And the calories/food thing - you wouldn't be human if you didn't slip up now and then. I go with an 80/20 theory - follow the rules 80% of the time, break them 20% of the time - it works for me, then you don't have to feel guilty when you do break them.
I hope you're feeling a bit better today though0 -

fac, Huge thanks you always put things in perspective for me, I know I am too hard on myself regarding money. I have said before, I would love to just go out on payday and blow all my wages (like many of my friends) but I am not like that ~ but somedays I wish I was
Regarding my weight management (its not a diet) yes I am to hard on myself regarding that too. The thing I was angry about was I resisted them all week, I was offered them and said no. Because these were left overs and just kept helping myself, but I guess one slip wont hurt. Havent put anything on or lost anything this week and I am happy about that because I did have a chinese too. :rotfl: I am fine hun thanks, sleep on it all and I came to the conclusion that I work for my money, I have put and extra £100 already this month into savings why cant I use the money I earnt through overtime on me? so read below :rotfl:
I want to know how wee elliot is, by the look of him in your avatar he is growing strong. How does it feel to be a mother? Got used to it now? Take care fac ~ luvs ya

Have a great day off Pap, and I echo what everyone else has said - you're doing great with your budgetting etc. don't be so hard on yourself xxBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Have a great day off, PaP, and try not to be too hard on yourself. It was my payday, last Friday, as well, but I only saw my payslip yesterday, and am more than a bit upset that I only took home £605 for all of the hours that I worked last month.
I have asked the personel department if I can see the record of my hours, because I am sure they are deducting an hour for my break, when I don't take one.
Still, on the positive side, I haven't touched my wages yet - I have them paid into my wife's account, so I'm not tempted, but she will give me money as and when I need it.
There you gou, PaP - my little rant over and done with.
Chin up.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

sf ~ thanks
rog ~ oh no really! Deffinatly get your hours, you practical live at work especially all those times they call you in  I hope they get it sorted. Ohhh I love hearing others rant, make my day seem a bit normal. Hope you have a great day too :j take care :A0 -
I can resist chocolate for days and days on end but then when I cave in, instead of having one piece or a small bar, I have to GORGE on it - a family sized bar will do me
I keep using the excuse that I'm breastfeeding so need the extra calories... but I really, really don't! I don't think you're alone in going OTT now and then - it's like, we don't have a takeaway often, in fact I can't even remember the last time, but when we have one we have the works. I can see why you were upset though but glad you can draw a line under it, what's done is done.
Hmm am I used to being a mother yet? I'm not sure I ever will get used to it completely - sometimes I look at Elliot and can't quite believe he's mine - I mean that in a good way - he is so bright and perky and beautiful and I made him! (Hmm, ok my OH might have helped, but still!) He is coming on so well, he's almost 5 months now and started rolling, trying to crawl - he can shuffle around but it takes forever and he gets tired and frustrated but he's trying! He 'talks' to me a lot now too, it's usually lots of 'bvvvvvvv' or 'gerrrr' noises but I love every one of them, I never knew how much fun babies were!
