well if I ever get married pap you can do me invites but dont hold your breath!! No sign of any prospectives! Great that you are saving for your own pad - sometimes local authorieties sponsor part ownership and at other times you can be eligible due to low income. I'd ring the local authority & ask. No harm is there! Just off to finish penny & get a box on the way out so will try & post it off tomorrow! Keep up the good work!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! :hello: PaP, great aim on saving for your own place. I think we're about the same age (i think?!) and I'm saving for a car first, and then for my own appartment
Not gonna be for a while, but that's my long term aim too!

isom, I may just do that you never know. Thanks.
sf, Yes I think we are the same age. Mine is going to be quite a while too but at least we are aiming for something. There is nothing like saving without a goal :rotfl:
hope you all have a great evening :j0 -
Yup, having an aim is always better, at least for me
have a good day, Pap xx

No just around the corner from where I work (ie the retail park). About 30min in the car and about 40min + a small walk on the bus. Dont know how long he will last though?

My sister was just like that, always bringing dirty washing home for Mum (who was also doing a full time job!), but when I moved out, I went for a 'clean break'...... Didn't leave on bad terms, far from it (my Mum couldn't wait for me to move out until the day that I actully moved out, then she cried!) but once I moved out, I was determined not to go back! Did go back to my Dads for a few weeks, and then again a couple of years later, for 8ish months (couldn't go back to Mums as we both had dogs by then, and they don't get on!) but I wouldn't wanna go back long term as, even though I was welcome, it somehow didn't feel like 'home' anymore......'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0
