Just a question for my fellow Gloucester/Bristol Bootsers:
Do you manage to get these fabulous clearance bargains when you go to your Boots? I never do - would love the S&G valentines set for an amazing £3.75 but there were non left - at any price - in Gloucs on Sunday. I go to Bristol Cribbs Boots as well - and have just discovered Eastgate, but no better luck in either of those I'm afraid. Maybe I just don't look in the right places? Any help would be gratefully received!:)

    Morning All :j

I am the same as you Clare; no bargains like the other girls find at my local (Cribbs). I thought I would try Emersons Green yesterday to see if that was the same ... it was!! . I walked every ailse and no bargains at all.

Cribbs .... cannot find a reduced shelf for love nor money.

Not sure why this is Clare, but think maybe as it is a quite large store and people travel to the Mall from all over than they keep their prices high.

I had my best Bootsing in the Sales after Xmas so think I shall just have to wait for those to come round again.

Should also mention that the No7 SA (Cribbs) is totally lovely; have been served by her twice and she has put through my vouchers with no problems at all. She looks a bit scary though :o ... but as we know we cannot judge a book by its cover :). I am so glad that I went to her last week now as she remembered me and we had a nioce chat.

I will post up or PM you when I see any bargains .... ;)

Have a good day Bootsing for those that are going out ... :T

wee????? in face cream??? oh my goodness!

it's a good job I wasn't eating my breakfast as I read that!

Where have all the Preston bootsers gone? Have you all been scared off by the evil SA's? Am I the only one left standing. It'll take much more than a few scowls and voucher refusals to keep me out of the store!

    *evil laugh*

Went for a walk up Oxford St today (Primark to past Oxford Circus) - Sanctuary suede bags still 20.00. S&G Shower sets still 7.50 and hatboxes 9.00.

S&G bags in big Oxford St. Did this twice:

Hid the bags amongst the other items, lucky coz the SA (ground level) scrutinised and must have thought it was GWP. Very pleased, spent about 14.50 and got back just over 800pts.

Whereabouts did you find the bags? I looked in that store on monday, but didn't see any:confused:

I tried using 2x 200 points vouchers (mag/ACM) on heel genious, but SA wouldn't let me use both vouchers. So I said I didn't want it. She actually did me a favour, because I don't actually need anymore stuff anyway:D and I usually spend my points as I earn them. I am not a big points collector...I think I might give this one a miss.

    Well done crazyposhgal!

    Hi Sally
Big Oxford St store - lower ground with the S&G items (left hand wall near the tills). They were folded into themselves and stacked in a little cardboard box (top shelf I think). I had tried Monday but SA lower ground wouldn't let it go through and was going to charge 2.50 for it, that's why I tried upstairs with other items.

TBH, they're OK for a freebie, but not that attractive, certainly not worth 2.50. They're the same shape and about the same size as a supermarket bag. For daily bits and pieces I have a big cotton bag which I can carry on my shoulders and it carries loads.

PS: Used both 200pts vouchers in store no problems. Lots of Shower sets and hatboxes.
