:hello:
Good evening everyone and welcome to all the new posters.
Popped to morrisons late yesterday evening and spent £14.10.
Managed to get some bogof's and some whoopsies as well. Freezer well stocked up.
Called at tesco for Both mine and OH mum. Got everything needed plus they had some reduced bread ( that is sitting in my freezer now;) ) So in total about £11 spent on us. We are well stocked up on cereals now as when we were there someone was reducing all the cereal boxes that had been damaged. All reduced to half price. So OH is happy.
Will have to buy milk tomorrow. Did not buy any today as we was not going straight home after shopping.
Signature updated.
MRS MC would you be able to post the recipe for duck pancakes or direct me to where I can find it..'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
Hi everyone
Glamorgan Sausages
Need:
1 medium onion, finely chopped
6oz (175g) Cheddar Cheese (grated)
10oz (300g) fresh breadcrumbs
3 eggs beaten
Salt and Pepper
2 tablespoon Olive Oil for frying
Pinch of dried Sage
Pinch of Mustard Powder
Fresh breadcrumbs for coating
Method
1. Mix together the onion, cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper, pinch of dried sage, pinch of mustard powder. Divide the mixture into 12 pieces and roll each portion into small sausage shapes.
2. Lightly beat eggs. Place breadcrumbs on large plate. Coat each sausage shape with egg and then press on a coating of crumbs.
3. Heat about an inch of oil in a large saucepan. Fry the sausages for 5-7mins or until golden. Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot or cold.
(Can cook from frozen, keep turning in pan until golden)
Went to Tesco - picked up 2 packs of 6 wholemeal rolls for 31p each and a Finest Rustic Loaf for 77p (all reduced). I looked at the other offers but they didn't seem such good bargins!!!
