Great news about the bonus IA, don't forget with the payrise to factor in the new tax brackets (you can check here: http://listentotaxman.com/).

Re the Wii, I think Ste has shown a chink in the armour there, he is seeing it as something he would like but knows (from bitter experience?) that the reality wouldn't be quite as good or not for long anyway. GREAT. I would take this as a good sign that you can fairly easily put him off the idea or at least make him learn to wait until everything is paid off. By then something else will have come out that is a must have and he will be off slavering over that if he is anything like my DH. Having said that if there is a fair wee bit left over after paying off Egg etc then it might be nice to have a proper treat for once. What about trying to put it away for a holiday?

Wow it feels like everything is going really well for you right now, and it wasn't that long ago you were feeling the world was against you and everything was going wrong. But you have turned that around yourself! You have inspired me, I think I have been waiting for life to get better on its own lately and it is about time I made it happen. Thanx

Last night I went running again up the chase. Was really good actually.. managed to do more running this time as even though it was a bit drizzley the running surface was better... and felt good for doing it.. :) Plus it's saving me £8 a week going to bodytone :D
Got my AS delivery today so got that to look forward to.. supposed to be going to see a Pantera Tribute band tonight but feeling full of cold so shall see.. lol.

You could point out to Ste that if you hadn't bought the TV, you'd be debt free by now, and he could have the Wii with a totally guilt free conscience.

You take it out of your party earning... I can claim the money back from my AS account if they all pay by card etc and they send a cheque out. But say if people pay cash then you take your earnings out of that.

    Morning everyone :)
I need to confess... last night we spent about £104 on the credit card _pale_
New ink cartridges... £16 and £17 respectively... a laminator (for my next advertising plan of attack).. a paper trimmer to make leaflet making 1000 easier.. a file and pocket things..football manager 2008 on the xbox and hair dye..

But... before we spent it Ste actually said to me that we'll use all his bonus to pay debt instead of getting a wii.. so it's all still going to be paid off in full at the end of the month. :)

    and in other good news...
got my wages today which I wasn't expecting.....
Plus £58 extra from tax credits (so I'm expecting the award notice today _pale_)..
So £96 in the bank at the moment compared to the £10 last night :T :)

PLUS I'm booked into a local AS store canvassing to do some canvassing tues 12-2 :D and I'm planning to do a bridal fayre exhibiting my AS parties in June...

    Plan for today...
Call CAB to confirm details for monday
Call nursery to double check what I need the send with the girls on monday..
Call practice studio to book for band practice..
    print flyers to laminate..
    print 'handing out' flyers..
    await the postman...

    Good work.
Just promise me that if the parties temporarily dip, these things happen (perhaps set aside 10% for times when it might go slower (summer hols?) and if it doesn't go slow use it to take a BL^&DY holiday) , you won't get low or panic! Sounds like the doorstep flyering worked if it got you a hen party. All hard work and all paying off. It's nice for alll of us to here ( hard work = reward ) kind of helps us all keep the faith in life on a rather grey friday.
