Ste's had his payrise details :D His wages are going up by £46 a month after tax! :D Not a bad little payrise!!! :T
That means that in april inc Ste's bonus we'll have £731.46 left after bills (inc child benefit)...approx £230 left after paying the egg card off in full. :)
I have broached the subject of paying off some of the tv but we've also got nursery fees to consider... hmm..

    Hey cool...another bass-playing MSEr!

It's hard when there's so much gear I'd love to buy but I can't justify it! After a nice acoustic bass for local pub night play-alongs but can't spirit £300 away from until we're...and then there's the vintage Rickenbacker I'd like......ah well.best plod on with my Yamaha RBX650 and Boss ME50B pedal set with Laney 150 combo
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

Cool! Hi! I've only got 'budget' basses, a shine SB55 5 string and an OLP Traben TB4 4 string. My amp is a Laney RBW300 combo and I've got a Zoom b2 combo pedal.
What kind of music do you play? Are you in a band?

What's the current plan for paying off any outstanding debt. Egg is going to be used for emergencies only. What are you doing about tv and are you still thinking of paying car loan off early or not?

I also thought about Ashli's funded sessions. Are you allowed to add 2 x 2.5 sessions together yet eg 1pm-6pm free. You couldn't do this when mine were at private nursery but the manager told me the rules were changing just as my youngest left. What to I don't know, it didn't apply to me so I didn't take much notice.

At the moment it's hard to know exactly how the AS/CAB/Nursery is going to pan out so at the moment it's a case of paying off egg then saving what we can.. but playing it by ear til we know exactly where we stand. I'm tempted to get the TV out of the way next so we can concentrate everything on the car loan after. Plus at the moment the TV is a more realistic target.

Ash's nursery won't let you combine the session. You can have one in the morning and one in the afternoon.. but you have to pay a top up. Annoyingly..

Hi...used to be in a band when I was younger and richer.....well not in debt anyway...used to smoke and drink too...worked out that playing live wasn't really cost-effective and that was when petrol was cheap....

We spent so much time rehearsing and a gig every blue moon as the singer had family commitments that I can now fully understand...just wish we had the internet in those days as we could have done so many other new songs...still, I'm now into recording (know very little about it and have a very limited vocal range) and playing along to stuff to unwind.....music wise...old style Goth and Rush, Cure, hipyy stuff and anything that sounds good...had a huge CD collection til it met up with Amazon Marketplace and came off worse! Still, only sold the stuff I never listened to anyway!

When does the 0% on the TV run out? Can you get it paid off in time AND afford a Wii? Would Ste be willing to wait until the TV was paid off, and then get his Wii before you start tackling the car loan?

I am currently being pestered for a Wii by Ryan, so I sympathise.

Great news about the bonus IA, don't forget with the payrise to factor in the new tax brackets (you can check here: http://listentotaxman.com/).

    When's the next party?
