The latest routers supplied by Sky are made by Sagem or Netgear.

You can now get £150 cashback by going through quidco.

I'm seriously thinking about changing. For a TV/ Broadband/ phone package its only going to be about £5 more than I'm already paying Madasafish for broadband alone. Plus £150. Win Win :j

Thinking about having the full sky package, 4 , unlimited phone calls, mid range package and this will come to £29 a month. A good saving because at the moment we are paying £21 sky, £29 orange plus whatever to BT.

But we want a sky plus box which is £99 plus there is the £30 installation total £129.

We already have a dish and have been with sky since the start so we are out of contract. I did try to have a conversation with sky this morning but got nowhere and she then offered to put me through to the cancellation department who didnt answer and then got cut off

So is there any way out of paying the £129?

Also I think we already have unlimited calls with BT so do I just go online and cancel this or do i have to ring them up?

Where we are we are the furthest possible from our box and so only get 0.5 megabits, maybe 1.5 on a good day. Some times of the day its impossible to get pages to load and if anyone tries to download films on their laptops the main stand alone freezes altogether. So better a free broadband for the very little we do get.

I think though not 100% sure you can buy the sky+ box elsewhere and just get sky to activate Sky+ for you. I know a friend of mine did that as back in the day you got a bigger harddrive in the boxes. This obv means if the box breaks you need to buy another one

Further to the above, you would need another feed from the dish as the Sky+ box needs two inputs from the dish.
