  • Hi

Am i right in thinking that if my cca letter was received on the 10th august then the date i should receive something by is the 25th august ?????

Also, am still a little confused about my egg CCA if anyone can help fhttp://s827.photobucket.com/albums/zz195/chinawhite1/

I have two different credit cards with them they are both egg but are different card accounts does this mean i need an agreement for each card or is the one they have sent me meant to be for both, they were not taken out at the same time and this agreement does not state what account number it relates to - sorry for asking again, am trying to get as many answers as i can myself but its not always easy when you dont really know what your doing to start with

    thanks in advance :D

    Yes, cw - 24/25th August.

I am still looking at the 'egg' documents - I am a bit unsure about them and need to do some more 'checking' before I can give you my opinion.

Possibly someone else might also look at them.

I'm no expert on these but 4.4 (page 1) says "..... by giving you notice under condition 12".

Where's condition 12? Did you only have these 2 pages?

Like I say I am no expert so hopefully someone will be along to comment on this.

thanks, have already done that 1 they received it over 2wks ago.

If all they have sent you is a copy of T&C's then they are stil in default and you need not do anything. There is a template letter to write back about what they have sent is not CCA compliant but I wouldn't bother. Why tell them what the "should" know.

If they send you a letter demanding money then its time to report to the relevant authorities.
  • Hi Bazza

in addition to the two pages scanned they did send a whole load of other pages headed consumer credit act 1974 conditions - looks like a standard run off of conditions - and there is indeed a condition 12 !!

    thanks for the reply
  • Hi All

    Just a quick question.

Capital One have sent me a reply to my CCA request stating that the signature is different to that held on their system (printed name) and they will not proceed with request.

Can I just clairfy that I need to go ahead and send the 12+2 letter once this date arrives and just ignore this letter or should I response saying that they don't need a signaure to proceed.

    TIA

A signature is NOT required for a 'cca request'.

I would wait the full 12 working days before doing anything, BJ.

Then, and only then, send them the 12+2 day letter - post 7 of http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=963087

If, after that, they reply asking for your signature, send them a opy of the letter that you will find on post 9 of the same thread.

Just received a letter from Barclaycard advising me that they have fuffiled my CCA request for a former Goldfish account (12+2 expired a month ago) by sending me monthly statements and making their terms & conditions avalable to me! Vaguely threatens legal action which should prove interesting if it ever comes to fruition!
