Well after 1 year and 5 months , and several differant DCA . The OC have now started sending text messages for me to ring them .This followeds the 40% DISCOUNT offer. All I have ever recieved from anyone is a copy of an application form .
Report them to OFT - One dca (the infamous Mackenzie Hall) is on a warning NOT to pursue debtors who have requested a cca, but have not been provided with one.
See: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1639473I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Excellent news for us from the OFT. Now, PLEASE anyone with any complaint about ANY OC or DCA complain to the OFT (address in link on previous post). This is a good week, firstly one of my DCA's has given up attempting to collect (in writing) and then this Mackenzie Hall news.
I always knew DCA's were staffed by amateurs......!0 -

I will keep this in reserve ! I see their letter as good news , they must know a application form is no good . So no threats of court action from them , just please pay something . Or we will have to ditch the account . SHAME :rotfl:0 -
