if you send (a) you will just end up sending (b) anyway... so just dig on with b..

You could do ( c ) but the you would not be in this DFW forum :P

as for quite.... I aint herd a peep from my DLC's since a sent off for the CCA's....

even sent them the 12+2 and still they dont want to talk no more.... ( For Now ) lol

Amazing how they hassle you and then once you send a short CCA request......

Can see your logic and skipping a) since b) would be the next step. But if they cant prove a) then it wouldnt get to b) anyway.

Also slows them down a bit and lets them know I aint taking any old cr*p from them!

    It should ALWAYS be A.

B is part of the process one has to go through, why would anyone request a CCA if they have no knowledge of a debt?

It's more hassle to CCA them, that gives them an indication you are aware of the debt, more hassle.

Remember, the onus is ALWAYS on THEM to prove you owe the money.

I sent cabot the go away it's in dispute letter and got a reply yesterday saying they're sending it back. I have to say I found them quite nice to deal with, they were always polite. If it was a debt that was enforcable I'd have been happy to deal with them.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Are you currently paying them anything? Or are they just phishing letters? If paying them then CCA them!

I CCA'ed lowell and strangley they didnt find a CCA so all I paid them was the interest @ 1 million percent on the balance I owed them. As we all know 1 million percent of nothing is a big fat ZERO! mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!
