  • Hello,
    Hope I can ask a quick question here if anyone knows the answer.

    I have sent out my cca requests.
    If they dont provide one after the time limits 12-2-30 would it be a good idea to offer a very low settlement to them?
    Also if they can not provide me with my cca do they have to remove all infomation from my credit file as it would be unenforceable?

    Many thanks

  • Hi, Can somebody post a link to a letter template for a CCA request please

    Thank you
  • I'm still waiting for a decision from the FOS in respect of my Sainsburys complaint over there failure to comply. From the CAG website, I've read about a few people taking these issues to the FOS and being unsuccessful as they don't want to make a decison on the legality of an agreement or not. My complaint is linked to PPI mis-selling so hopefully these can be resolved quickly as it's already been allocated to an Adjudictor.
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Question;

    Do you need to send a S.A.R when you do a CCA request ?
    Again I am comming upto my 12 days and want to stay 2 steps ahead of the game if possible.

    Never heard of them unless it's Metropolitan Collection Services?

    Either way dont sign anything. The reason, alledgedly, is some DCA's have been known to scan you signature onto other documents. So I hear anyway. :D

    Dont think you need to SAR yet - wait until the 12+2 days are up then send the next letter.

    I am about to write to FOS re a unstatisfactory resolution to a formal complaint made against Lowell-life. DId you find a template on here? Maybe thats why Lowell-life dont mind me writing to FOS knowing they do sweet FA. But a letter to OFT and Data Protection might?

    Hi All, as you know I going through the CCa route & have had some so called CCA's sent back to me does anyone know if there is anyone here who would look at all my CCa Application & documents received so far to confirm 100% where I stand with all of this as I am getting lost in this long battle now.

    Many thanks to everyone who has replied & offered advice for my plight :-) :A

    No one will say 100% , it is down to the Judge if goes to court . All you can do is stay firm and insist it does not comply . They will try to baffle you , but even the DCA are unsure about enforceability. They will try to bully you, but in many cases they withdraw the case at the last minute .
