    Personally I would CCA them.

The debate on whether to carry on paying them while you wait for CCA is different dependant on who you talk to. I stopped as soon as I sent for CCA request but that was me. Others have said continue until they cannot (if) provide a valid CCA.

Also Bank Overdrafts are not covered by CCA request.

Hi guys i CCA's Cabot and initially they did the it's difficult to find bear with us letter. Then came the "terribly sorry we cant find it despite asking our client for it so pay half and we will call it quits" letter. Next after telling them to go boil their head I get the "sorry we agree it's irrecoverable so we will write it off and you will hear no more from us" lewtter. Chalk one to me! Hehe I hate Cabot almost as much as Lowells!!!

Keep the faith guys it pays to be persistant and stand your ground

    Good luck

    Dave

yes I am currently paying them.

    Have paid:

    Aktiv - £93.28 @ £23.32 a month
    Lowell - £183.18 @ £7.50 a month
You may as well continue to pay . When Aktiv is paid off in 4 months start paying that extra off Lowell . Ensure you get a account settled receipt off them . If you stop paying I doubt they will bother taking it to court but it wiil show up on your file for another six years !

Who the hell are Hillesdon Securities anyway? Certainly not anyone I have ever dealt with!

Its Hillesden Securities and they are the Holding Company for Direct and Legal Collections ( Dlc as they are usually known ).

So DLC have written to me saying their clients are themselves? (i.e. Hillesdon Securities).

Thats makes no sense to me.
