  • I know - she is really lovely and whilst she wouldn't be fussed if they all went out together as she no longer works there (and neither would I be), she would be upset if she knew I had been invited, she hadn't and then even the get together for coffee wasn't even high enough up on my travelling friends list of things to arrange when she said she would do :(

  • She is a busy girl Fermi!!!

I half wonder if I was invited by mistake. Someone else arranged the meal at Cafe Rouge and my travelling friend didn't mention in in her emails to me until I mentioned it to her which is when she replied that she didn't think my other friend was invited as she wanted to keep it easy to chat. It was a kind of 'flustered' response and I've had no contact with the other people who are going for almost a year.

Confession time ! I have just taken my doggy for a long walk & the wind is freezing cold. So I have made myself a cuppa and scoffed a whole packet of jaffa cakes. :o

  • Hello everyone. It is a lovely sunny day here. I was on a study day today just off Oxford Street. Something strange happened. I wandered into Zara on my way to the tube. I picked a shirt dress I liked, wandered round the shop with it and then put it back. I could not bring myself to buy it, even though it was only a fiver. All your good habits are definitely rubbing off on me.

  • I'm edging towards the not going jacs. I'm not doing the inviting otherwise I would have asked her top of the list, but if I'd wanted to stir it (and I went along), I could say at the meal 'oh, could x not make it? I'm sure she would have enjoyed an evening out'..............but I'm not that brave......
