SSP is due on the 4th day, but if you have a bit off work, and then a bit back at work, and then off again for the Same illness, then the 1st batch will count towards your 3 days.
We had a chap who started here having had time off sick in his last 2 weeks of his previous job and then a weeks holiday, and they decided that he was swinging the lead and refused to pay him for either week. (they were right actually but that's another story)
But don't mess with your health over a days pay, you sound as though you really need the break (((hugs)))0 -
Can I come in and have a chat? Am bored at work.
Had £1172 of shares money clear into my bank today, and have paid:
£550 off OH's Virgin CC
£150 off our Next account (now at about £60 - clear next month)
£200 in our savings account for holiday in April
£100 off my CC I use soully for work purposes (to clear it, so when expenses come in they're mine!)
£116 off my main CC (bringing balance to £454)
Wish I could have blown it all on a nice holiday, but with OH not working at the mo I know a nice spread of his CC and the next account will save a lot in interest, and when we're debt free we can start saving for a house deposit and get out of hideous London!
Feeling positive today, but a bit ill. Hope youre all well! xx0 -

Not bad at all really - it's well over a months wages for me! I know technically i've been paying for it for years though. At least it was tax free (company scheme ended early due to buy-out, so no tax due from us). Seems a bit rubbish that I don't have anything to show for it though!!x
