Got a poser for you.
I have been in discussion with moorcroft debt recovery since last year regarding an apparent outstanding bill for british gas.
I paid the bill, i know i paid the bill, my bank knows I paid the bill but no matter how much and how many times i send proof to these poeple they are simply denying that I have paid the bill. Other times they come back and say that I have paid but they rejected the payment. Either way I have paid and like I said the bank knows I have paid and they have also written to these people stating that.
Now what my question is: Is that they have asked me AGAIN to send bank statements and I dont want to waste the time and expense. Is it worth me letting them take me to court just to get rid of them or will it affect my file??
AND does anyone reckon I can get damages off these morons??
any help very appreciated as usual.

If they took you to court the judge would see that you paid and laugh in their faces... tell them to take a running jump and prove that you HAVEN'T paid it.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Morning all,
Nice sunny day here in glorious Salop-nice to see the sun.
I'm trying to feel up today but it seems a load of recent events have affected me more than I realised and I feel rather sad (and SORE) today. I went back to work yesterday and wish I hadn't-so Im not today.
I have loads to do around the house, it needs a good clean and tidy and I have to iron, also need to do about 4 loads of laundry, but first I am going back to bed for a bit.
So, that's all the excitement at Chez BunnyEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Morning!
Am I in time for the cheesecake?
It's very sunny here today, although quite cold and breezy. Still, it feels like spring is on it's way! :T
Laura, what a bunch of prats, I would love to see their faces if they do try to take you to court with all the proof you have that you've paid it.
Hope everyone is well."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Oh, forgot to say, Stu bought Singstar yesterday, from a 2nd hand games shop somewhere! We had a go last night, and I'm even worse without the alcohol... :rotfl: :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
