She does sound nice. I'll see how it goes, maybe i'll appreciate being able to get up a bit later for work - i've never started that late in an office job but with an 8am start on a Friday, I'll get used to that first I think!! I won't need to leave the house until 7.45am, maybe 7.50 am!

Ooooh i was his last poster! He'll think i was stalking him. Not funny at all given the trouble he was having with Ex. Sure he'll be pleased to know we are missing him though!
Of course he'll get pelters when he comes back and we can rib him for abandoning us cause he has a girlfriend!! tsk tsk!

Can anyone give me some travel advice please... my geography is not too hot and i have no idea how feasible my thinking is.....
I have to get from Aberdeen to Liverpool on Saturday 22nd March for a hen night, would like to arrive lunchtime-ish. Returning Sunday evening.
How best can i travel?
There are no direct flights, have tried Abdn to Manchester but nothing in my price range. There is a Abdn to Birmingham flight but how feasible is travel from B/ham to Liverpool for the unwitting scot?!
I am considering driving, which is not cheap as my car is not economical, probably be £80 return in petrol and a 6 hour drive.... i do love driving, love my car and would quite like 6 hours of "me" time, with no kids and my own choice of music.... travel inn where we are staying has some parking so hopeful i can get parked securely... alternatively i could hire a wee economical car and half my petrol costs/reduce milage and wear n tear... with a less pleasant journey though.....
any thoughts?
I'm off to see if i can fly edinburgh to liverpool and drive part way...
edit: no flights from any scottish airport to liverpool!! can that be true!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
