Good luck with your list twinkle
    I take it he's fairly handy......may I borrow him? :D

    Sorry SmlSave he's all mine!

Rang and spoke to someone about the job...they would be willing to hang on for the right applicant - HR was too slow sorting out the job ad!! Which speaks volumes about the council round here's HR dept - whom being a teacher I've had dealings with before!! Ha ha.

The person whom I'd be working for is calling me back later to chat about it! ARGH...I'm so excited. Not going to be able to concentrate now till I've spoken to them.

The woman I spoke to said 1/10 is start date no negotiation...but the first person I spoke to was higher up so who knows. The job itself is perfect and exactly what I want to get into. Sooooo annoying.
Anyway, I'm applying and thats that.

Still, it's making motivation to do school work a little difficult. That and the pain I'm in...really bad pain in tummy. Can't decide if it's trapped wind or the begining of a UTI. Grrrr....

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Great news about the job being suitable, if its the one for you I am sure you can come to some arrangement with your school /govenors. Its unusual for schools/ companies to stand in peoples way if they are wanting to make a career move. Good luck!

Do you really think so earthgirl? Is it just moving schools they are normally difficult with then?? Thats my biggest concern if I was to be offered the job.

Anyhoo, my golden hello has just been put into my account and I'm VERY happy! YEY! Means I'm happily funded for a while now!! Takes a massive pressure off in terms of paying for all this DIY stuff! I wasn't expecting it till October so I'm well pleased!

And it means i stand a chance of filling my ISA now. In fact I will if I don't cancel any of my payments into it!! :j

Woo hoo....I have 3 things selling on ebay. Ok so 2 are selling for 99p and one for £1.25 but who cares. Means they are gone and I've made a bit from them. Although, they won't actually free up much space! Hmmm...

Going to get very little done today because I'm suffering. Never ever will I drink again! I wouldn't mind but I hardly drank anything. I think I'm developing a sensitivity to alcohol. I get really bad cramps and pains in my legs. Is that signs of an allergy or is it normal??

Cramps doesn't sound too great but I found that when I reached about 28, hangovers got much much worse to the point where I hardly ever get drunk any more cos it's just not that much fun (I'm 32). Not sure how old you are (about 26? or am I making that up?) but it could be a sign of getting on a bit! ;)

Hope the entire day's not a write-off (although it is still the hols so not the end of the world :D)
    Updating soon...

:rotfl: Thanks Courgette....nice to know I'm getting on a bit. ;)
I'm 28 btw. Nah, it's something I've always had. One of the reasons why I'm not a big drinker. I only had about 3 whiskey and cokes between 8.30pm and 12.30am. So hardly a big night!! But it kinda feels like I've done a marathon.

I don't do hangovers, had about 3 bad ones (although at least one of them involved alcohol poisoning...oophs) and thats it. I'll be fine later no doubt. But all the men walking round my house are a bit off putting when it comes to working too. I'm currently still sat in bed....although I have been up since 8.20am ish.
