Well my OH is on a fixed term contract that ends in July next year anyway...so we know he won't have a job. I'm assuming they won't just pay because he's unemployed given he knew it was going to happen?

Right OH has just gone to pick up FIL to come and finish off the soil pipe, tiling and installing the toilet. I'm fed up of not having a toilet already and am constantly thirsty because I'm not drinking enough - don't want to have to go to the toilet! Doesn't help that it's that time of the month iyswim!

Right I have 6 MS's next week which is ace! Should earn me a little bit of extra cash along with 2 free meals and some general shopping! Woo WOO

Just as well I have lots of MS jobs on because sorting the soil pipe out is costing more and more....around £200 now. OOphs! Found out why DH was in a MEGA mood this morning as well. He wanted to give up on the house cos it's stupid and everything and everyone was against him!!! Turns out because of the extra money we've had to throw at it...he can't buy his forks for the bike this month!!! Ha ha ha ha :rotfl: I thought it was something serious!!!!

Nevermind, we won't have the space to house them anyway! :D

Oh and I emailed LoveMovies and threatened to tell people on the Martin Lewis site that they wouldn't let me leave. I had a lovely email this morning to let me know they were very sorry for any inconvenience caused and that my account has been cancelled! :j

Right, I have decided that one way or another when this shed is built I'm going to try and grow my own veg. Even if it's just salad bits, it all adds up! I know I can grow basil on my kitchen window sill so thats something at least...I will just need a bigger pot for it next time...we accidently ate our way through the other one and it couldn't keep up!

I might have to save up and do it in dribs and drabs (mainly due to OH's moaning)...but I think we'd defo eat more veg (and it saves money). Just a waiting game now.

Looks like we can't fit the bath because it's over a bloody joist! ARGH! Or rather to get that to make sense...the waste is over a joist and there is no room for it! Ignoring that though, it's gonna be fine!!!!

Looks like we'll just have to put it on a plinth or something...might look daft though. Hmmm...will have to see if we can create a design feature out of it! We shall see.

Erm...I don't know....it's been going on FOREVER! Mind you we did kinda have quite a big break due to us both studying (him final year of degree and me teacher training followed by NQT year) and running out of money!

However, we have all the stuff we need to finish bathroom and living room. And the kitchen (aside from a cooker - our is old and grotty but will last for the time being). So for all this, I'd like to get it done before xmas. However, OH isn't good at getting up and starting work...he'll do anything to make excuses not to do it so I'm not holding out much hope!

I would just be happy to have the bathroom and outside shed thing (finished inside and out, including fitting the washing machine and tumble dryer - which we've yet to buy) done by half term (last week in October). I know that sounds ages way and totally doo-able but I'm back at school in September and know he'll SLOW down. Not painting him in a good light there am I? OOphs! He is having to dig up a concrete yard, pull down a wall AND dig and lay the foundations for the shed though which is quite a lot of work!

EDIT: DH and FIL are arguing because FIL did something he shouldn't and has knocked a tile off the wall in quite an important spot! They are struggling to get it back on because there is no floor board to support it! So I'm re-estimating the finish time to the 25th of never....it's gonna take em that long to start talking again! :rotfl:
