    :hello:Hi Twinklie,

Just popping across to say hello, and to wish you continued encouragement for your MF quest. From the day it sounds like you're having, I prescribe a large glass of vino and an evening in front of the telly ;):D xx

If only. They are STILL trying to plumb in the toilet...it's just been one problem after another! I give up! I might take up DR ATB's prescription tomorrow night though. ;)

I was looking through photos from when I was living in the US earlier. Then had a rather scary and rather large panic attack. I think it was about never leaving the country. I really would love to go back or go to Canada, or New Zealand at a push.

We are looking into what we need to do etc but apparently it's affecting me more than I'd realised. I feel so weepy now, I just can't understand it.

So are you from the UK and want to move away? Or from the US and want to move back?

I can sympathise as I would love to move as well. Its not just places, but people and lifestyles I miss. I'm sure that if we work hard enough to achieve our goals, we can get wherever we want! x

From the uk and want to move away. I've done a fair bit of traveling and needless to say thats been my down fall! It opened my eyes to other things and I saw I could have a much better lifestyle elsewhere.

I feel better this morning. We are going to an expo that we went to last year but we where finishing qualifications etc and they didn't want to deal in if's but rather certainties (which is understandable). So we want to go back again this year and see what happens. Hopefully we'll get better answers now we are in a position to give solid answers. Fingers crossed!

((((hugs)))) Panic attacks are scary aren't they... :grouphug: (sorry its a dodgy hug!) It you want to move abroad you will... It may take time and possibly hard work, but you will find a way to achieve it if it is what you want to do. Good luck! :D

There is no reason why you can't move at some point. By the look of your financial situation they are in far better shape than most people who relocate overseas. Even if you have to wait a little while, all the OPs you make will keep bringing down that amount so you can have a great time when you relocate. That way you can enjoy it rather than having to work really hard to make it work.

I know I know...you are all talking sense. I guess I'm just impatient. The problem isn't our finances so much but more the eligibility to get in. Looks like at least one of us would need to secure a job before we go in order to get in. I could probably get us into New Zealand with my teaching...but everywhere else it's up to OH. And with him turning 40 in December time is starting to tick away!

Still, hopefully the expo should help us figure out our next steps.

We are going through the same sort of thing only with our house. We are desperate to move as our house is really far too small for one nevermind two. We have always said we would wait till next summer as OH has just started NQT year (today) and so until we know he has got a job next year we are going wait (sensible MSE heads). However we started looking at houses on the internet last week, it was only meant to be to see what sort of property we could afford when the time comes but we want to move NOW and are getting very impatient. I am trying to take my own advice and wait but it is tough.
