Thanks guys. Myself and my hand are ok (I'm so blonde). I've been away for the weekend to see DH's new house...it's beautiful. Going to have to get a dongle for when I'm down there though because there is no internet. Boo.

Most random 24 hours ever...got lost in a car park!!! Chased the dog round a dog poo bin for 5 minutes (not intentionally) and then got trapped in my classroom for ages because the door broke (no class in with me thank god...but I really needed a wee).

Still, it did put a smile on peoples faces! :D

Broke up today! :D Came home, took Belle for a big walk and had a 3 hour nap (we finished at 12pm)!! She however is still sleeping and is now passed 4 hours!!!

I'm planning on spending as much time down in Wales with DH as possible and maybe giving him a bit of a pamper (he's still working bless him). I've got 3 SOL to write for science and one for Psychology. Then I've got all my KS4 stuff to plan and some coursework to sort. I've also got my MA assignment to write....BOO! I do plan on A LOT of napping as well though. :D

I guess I don't really need to ask what your plans are...:D

Feeling a bit out of the MFW loop at the minute. I'm just not doing anything extra to save/make money. In fact, since the dog has arrived all MS's have ceased as well. I need motivation and some ideas of what to do...but I've so much school work and uni work to do that I don't really know what I could be bothered to do. Hmmmm.

what kind of dog have you got? is that a pic of her underneath your user name? OMG Soooooo cute! cant wait till we can afford a house as am SO getting a dog then!
I hear you on feeling out of the MFW loop- I currently have no income for the next couple of months, so can only live as frugally as possible as OPs will be impossible pretty much, but am still reading here most days to keep motivated with the end goal! sounds like you have a lot on with school/uni work (are you a teacher? ) maybe focus on whether there is anything else you could save on to get some extra cash that way? I figured I needed to slow myself down as was getting a bit manic and stressed with it all! so stuck with trying to save as much as poss on food shopping, putting stuff on amazon and ebay (not done ebay yet) , saving electricity water etc (will look at cheaper companies in the next few months too to see if we can get a better deal) ... so although Im not "making" money, I feel like I am trying to get the best out of the current situation

and enjoy your new dog - get out in the sun (when its here!) with here or take her to the park (with uni work?....or reading?) ..free/cheap days out but good for the soul as well!

    take care

Yeah I'm a teacher and I have LOADS to do over the holidays. I'm also stupidly doing an MA at the same time...although they just put my deadline back by 2 weeks...bonus. :D

She's a Dogue De Bordeaux and that was her at about 8 weeks. She's 14 weeks now and MASSIVE! She's hitting that puppy stage with a vengeance and causing us to constantly be on our guard. It's tiring and tiresome at times but we love her so much. She's a good girl on the whole though and I think we are pretty lucky. :D

I've sold everything I can on ebay already and I've shopped around for my utilities etc and they are as low as I can get them for now. We'll save a bit over summer by living together again - so food will be cheaper because we'll be eating together rather than separately...which is a bonus. Plus we'll use the car less over summer so the fuel bill will go down.

She's only allowed little walks at the minute (being a large breed, too much too young can cause lots of damage to her joints), but we do a lot of play training and little trips out. Not to mention there is a field out the back of DH's house so when we are there we do lots of walking round and smelling things, not to mention sheep watching (she still can't figure out what they are all about...ha ha).

Still, I should take into account I start my promotion in September and my pay will go up. I should be happy with that I guess. I'm a bit cheesed off that I wasn't needed for exam marking this season...but I'm hoping they'll need me next year. I could use the extra pennies. And at the end of the day we are managing to live apart with the added costs of the dog as well and still OP the mortgage...so I can't really complain.

There is a house near DH which is 160K though which I would LOVE...if only we could afford it.
