I wanna be mortgage free!

Right so the gas and electricity has changed over without a hitch. Wormed and applied flea treatment to the wee pup last night. Seems fine this morning which is good, so no adverse reactions there then. She's 8.5 kg and on 1.91 lbs of minced meat a day!! Frightening. She's growing at a VERY fast rate now.
Thinking of swapping my ISA over because I think my bonus rate runs out soon...can't quite remember though - it's something I really should look into. I think I'm pretty much on top of everything else though. I can't really think of anything I need to do. just work, work and more work really.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Ok so since I've been up since 6 am I decided to be productive. So...I've cleaned up the massive mess pup made of her bed - peed and pooed in it. I can only blame DH because he was in charge of bedtime yesterday and thats where its clearly gone wrong. She never does stuff in her bed EVER!
Anyway, that was a traumatic start to the day. But then whilst I was in the midst of cleaning her stuff I noticed I'd not closed the babygate!!! PANIC! I expected to find pee everywhere. I looked in the living room, no pee and no dog. Looked in the kitchen, no pee and no dog. Looked in the yard to find a little pup in the corner having a poo. Might sound like a little thing but I was almost crying I was so impressed. After such a poo (literally) start to the day to see her take herself outside was immense!
Anyway, after that I put a wash of all bedding and hung it out on the line, and cleaned and washed all her toys etc. She also got fed at some point...although this is when I realised I'm a bad mum because I've no food left for her now...so need to go to the pet store when it opens at 10.30 am or Belles on a starvation diet come lunchtime.
I've also sorted DH's electricity swap for the new house...but he'll have to sort his own water I think because I don't have his account number. I'm hoping we'll get some money back from all his bills because I think he's been over paying...but we shall see. I also need to cancel my gym membership because I just can't afford it now we have Belle. Not to mention I just don't think I'm going to get the time to go now. By the time I get back from work next year (especially considering I'll be assistant curriculum leader) and then take Belle out and eat etc I'll be too tired to gym (I realise you gym before the food...but you know what I mean).
Right so I should spend my morning time getting organised really.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh and I've also written up my timetable for next year and sorted out my homework planner! I know when I want to set homework now, collect it in and hand it back!
I mean, that urgently needed doing...obviously!

Right DH's electricity is officially sorted so all I need to do now is sort his water out...if he ever gives me his account number.
We are both well into our overdrafts this month but thats a result of getting little miss and him having to payout over 1K for his move. So I'm sure it will all balance out.
It's my birthday next Tuesday which I'm looking forward to. Myself and little Miss are going to go for a walk and do a little local exploring near some busy roads I think. Or depending on the weather I'll go to the car park where the kids on skateboards and bmx's hang out and ask them to ride past us for a bit. Sounds odd, but it's all to try and desensitize her before she becomes a big scared-i-cat.
Right time to think about making some tea I think.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Wow. £120 doesn't seem a lot but by regularly paying it then it does make quite a big difference. Thanks for sharing that.
Sorry to hear you have hurt your hand. Not good. Hope it doens't stop you sleeping tonight. Hugs x0
