    Hi pixie,

I haven't posted on your thread before but just wanted to send you a big ((((hug)))) and congratulate you on taking that first step of talking to your GP and getting the medication. I've been on Anti-d's for about a year now, and they really have helped me get back on the right track - they don't make everything suddenly disapper but, eventually (and I'd give them at least 2 weeks to start working, if not longer) you'll find that you are just able to cope that little bit better ... which may mean you find it easier to talk to your OH or things will just seem a bit clearer.
Sending you lot of good wishes and hope for the future. Things WILL get better from here,

Please give anti d's the chance to work it will take a few weeks before they kick in. Then hopefully you will be in a better postion to decide what you want/need/feel. Im not saying stay with him or ask him to leave but just wait until youve had some help from the medication. They dont solve eveything but will help.

OH's can be very frustrating, in the meantime transfer his debt back to him and leave that bit of the finances alone. I love my OH but when it comes to how he handles money (and he is much better than before) I still want to shout at him that hes doing it all wrong!!

As long as you arent getting further into debt there are more important things to concentrate on.

    Lots of love

    Hi Pixie

Good to hear from you. Hopefully once the tablets kick in you will feel a little better and maybe a bit calmer and then may be able to face having another talk with him. In the meantime I can only suggest just going with the flow - don't let him upset you. Take some of this 2 weeks as real pampering/taking care of yourself time. Let him take on the majority of the chores or even the children could help, surely they are old enough to do some things ?

In the meantime I am sending you some hugs.

He knows what the Doc said,he said he is worried about me.
I think that he thinks all of our problems are because I am depressed...not that I am depressed because of our problems.

To be honest it will be a bit of both. When you have problems, it does make you feel down - but with depression, the "down" magnifies how much of a problem it is which magnifies the "down" - and so on.

Ah ZTD so wise! Yep, that's exactly how it is with depression - I went round and round in circles blaming one thing or another for why I was depressed ... but the fact is I was already depressed then the things that happened to me were more difficult to handle because I was depressed ... hmm am I making any sense? :rotfl:
One thing I do know is that you will get through this Pixie - you're clearly a very strong lady x
