    Hi owens :)

Now that you officially love your panasonic breadmaker we've added your recent threads onto the main Panasonic BM thread.

It's full of tips and recipes that I'm sure you'll find useful.

Happy breadmaking, as they say :)

Just wanted to post as yesterday I made my first ever pizza dough - wow, what a hit that was. My daughter (and her boyfriend) polished all three pizza's off in under 10 minutes - and she has asked me to bake more so she can take it for lunch at college.
A question, I want to now have a go and try bread rolls, are they successful?

    Thanks

  • Ok, you've all inspired me! I have an ancient - 5 years old - SD251, which I don't use often enough. So, its now working away happily, and as soon as the shops open, I'm off to buy more yeast.

I've just done a sandwich (fast bake) loaf for the first time - very nice with fried steak and onions as brunch :)
  • Hi Guys,
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I am still having problems with my granary sandwich loaf!! My white and wholmeal sandwich loaves turn out perfect everytime but I have only had ONE decent granary!
    I follow the instructions exactly.
I am posting some pics of my latest offering :o so you can see how it seems to rise one side and then sink.
    Any advice, please?

PS By mistake last week I started to use wholemeal bread flour instead of granary - only realised after I had added some wholemeal flour to the pan so I made a half wholemeal/half granary loaf - this turned out fine! But I want a 100% granary loaf if I can!

EDIT: Eek!!! Sorry for the HUGE pics! :o

I had a similar disaster last week using a hovis granary breadmix, loaf ended up in the bin, all i can think to do is reduce amount of water added to see if that helps, will try at the weekend again
