As u all know im new to the bread machine but as im dieting i need a lowfat recipe im on ww and ive pointed the normal white bread recipe and its over 30 pts !! thats very high
looked on web but i still carnt seem to find one
any help peeps x0 -
How about switching the butter to oil in the recipe.0

You can leave the fat out; the bread won't keep as well, though.
Carbohydrate also has calories  so if you want to reduce your calorie intake, you may just have to eat less bread

Hi there
i make my bread by hand.. but do:-
300ml warm water
pinch of sugar
14g fresh yeast
500g bread flour
3tsp salt
There is no need for milk/milk powder unless you like a softer crust -we like really crusty -and using just water does that
and you can omit the fat -which is mainly for keeping it fresh longer -but if you slice it n freeze in 2s then its not needed either
I think when i weighed 2 (not so thin)slices of mine the other day on WW scales it was 3.5 ww points -not that im wwing anymore -now doing it Old Style.....
hope it helps-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
yes works for me too with a breadmix - have tried cheese and onion, granary, white and sundried tommy and parmesan (yummy)0

I have tried it a couple of times, but tend to not use it tbh, I find the bread is quite stodgy and very heavy, its ok if your in a hurry and just need bread for toasting, but for sarnies I just think its too heavey. JMO;)Trying to be frugal and sensible with my pennies.0
